Now, I need some comments and suggestions from all of you guys. I want to buy some of the DVDs below. Some of them I'll be posting in my wish list for our Monito Monita (demoñito y demoñita) in the office. Astroboy original 1963 complete episodes.  Not familiar with this one but it looks ok.  Transformers  It says: ten of the best episodes.  Complete episodes  Don't know this one but looks cool.  And finally.. Macross/Robotech! Box 1 to 7 - I think around 80+ episodes. Not sure if this is complete. Sorry I thought I've taken pic of box 1-3 which says 'Macross Robotech'  There are lot of complete anime series which I'm not familiar with but I'll be taking pics of them in the future.

I'd say go for the macross and after watching those series, you will be buying model types of it. ;D

In case you didn't know yet, the 85-episode Robotech series combines the original Macross, Southern Cross, and Genesis Climber Mospeada into one long storyline and (sort of) translates them into English. But in the original Japanese versions, these three anime series have no connection with each other whatsoever. Still, Harmony Gold does a good job with the Robotech story and melding the three series together. I grew up with that as a kid (yes, I am old). But it's really up to you which version you want to see. The original versions have scenes (i.e. nudity, haha) that were never shown in the American-ized Robotech version, though. |
