Yeah, I know that place...... Thanks, Gold! .....currently downloading the PDF files..... thanks for the password bro!! sorry, I don't have the actual toy, I can't look it up in the manual if the password are different or universal...... (maybe, it's universal since it's much cheaper/easier for a batch printouts)

As far as I know the English Dubbed didn't get an "ending" episode, as the only Force Five series that got endings were Gaiking and Getter Robot G/Starvengers. I was able to get a copy of the English dubbed DVDs from Johnson/Zeta Anime over at Blue Lane, in front of original Ptoys. yes, got the same one... darn, didn't know it didn't have an ending...but then again, there's probably no other compilation available... i have the shogun warriors comics...it's so cheesy and retro, it's actually fun... download password works fine for me too.

Thanks Mazingaa, Jaybats, yes according to the folks over at RobotJapan, the password is indeed universal for all the figures (makes me wonder why do a password at all..)
Hehe, after rewatching Danguard, it really made me appreciate how superior Voltes and Daimos are in terms of story telling and action. It's been decades since I last watched Danguard and rewatching it bored me to tears! The action was very bland and the episodes didn't get me excited that much(this coming from someone who's watched a lot of old school robot Anime). Still, a classic is a classic. But be warned though, the pacing is very sloooooow. I've seen molasses drip faster. ;D

After quite sometime waiting for him to arrive.... Alas, now there are two versions, hehehe....... Being a true lover of Danguard Ace... I really just can't imagine myself not having both of these versions released by YAMATO. I thought I'd really be contented with the regular anime accurate color BUT I think I was wrong. After two (2) weeks of this metallic baby's arrival, finally I was able to pick him up so he could be with me this first day of December..... I literally walked approximately one (1) kilometer and swam through an ocean of human bodies to be able to get to where this baby was. It's in the middle of the christmas mad scramble area, right in the middle of the christmas rush PLUS a special holiday today to go with it. Come on, yes... it's a holiday today, sooooo I was not expecting to see so many homo sapiens in a single area BUT I guess am wrong. Anyway, I was able to navigate the said area and happily, I conquered it, hehehehe..... Divisoria, Never again.... not unless the holidays are over..... Because of the so many different threads (toy forums) indicating that this metallic version of the YAMATO Danguard Ace's layden with a lot of quality control issues, I immediately opened it as I got home AND lucky to say, my item was flawless. One thing I noticed though... coming out of the box, the metallic version's legs were not as stiff as that of the regular colored one. Aside from that, am sold to what it has to offer... Love both of them (",) The metallic version has the same amount of diecast. All of it's colors (except for the black and red) were metallic contrary to several rumors saying that the only metallic color is blue. Looking at both of them during the first time, I guess what you'll think is...... one is plastic and one is diecast (metallic)... atleast, that answer's what I got from a couple of my nephews when I asked them what they think's the difference between the two. I don't know if my pictures can give justification to the difference in the color of the two versions, ahmmmm.... presenting the metallic and the regular colored danguard ace by YAMATO.... METALLIC version's on the left side and the REGULAR one is on the right sidethanks for looking......

Hey thanks for sharing Doc! The metallic version does seem nicer. The colors aren't as light as promo pics showed. Congrats! Gold

I finally completed watching the dangard ace, borrowed the dvd box set from a friend in original japanese. I finally learned that the third guy who trained along with takuma for the position of dangard chief pilot died while trying to save them from the enemy. the other one was gravely injured that he couldnt pilot anymore. the fights with the mecha-satan were usually dogfights in satellizer mode and in dangard ace mode, it was short what with his limited weapons (4 unlike other 70's super robots). captain dan died as soon as the jasdam lifted off to promete due to injuries. in the end jasdam reached promete, doppler soto died, harken wandered off to space. for me it was closure who like gold saw the force five version of dangard ace in star world and never knew what happened. now at least know how in ended gold: did the rear landing gears locked perfectly when you attached them (as like in the pic)? I cant seem to lock mine and I fear if I force it, it might break.

Regarding the landing gears, no, the rear landing gears kinda just clip in there, no locks or anything. It just slides into the slot and that's about it. I'm not sure if I'm doing it right though. Gold i slid the landing gears in but in never clipped. i did also a shoot of it in satellizer and dangard modes just like what you did minus it with landing gears last info: the trumpet that takuma plays whenever he feels sad (like the one time he thought captain dan died in one of the missions but returned and got the mask loose) belonged to kubo (the pilot who competed for the dangard pilot position who died saving them). it was a birthday gift given to him because he learned the trumpet as a kid and they were gonna have a party, but he died saving takuma and captain dan. takuma takes the trumpet, goes outside the base and plays for him (the end song but instrumental)
