Here's something interesting. Mpchi over at Robotjapan tried this.




He swapped the ROTF Ironhide head with the 1st Ironhide, along with the guns (and arms?) to make the perfect Ironhide. Supposedly, the ROTF Ironhide's headsculpt is the best amongst those released?

Yes.. very strange that they made it into a TV spot.




BTW, a few toy related spoilers (based on the "I have seen the movie" thread over at TFW2005). I'll keep them to a minimal, but should help folks on deciding on which toys to get and which toys not to get.

-No Jazz

-No Barricade

-No Ransack

-No Smokescreen (the Jazz Repaint)

-No Breakaway

-No Stratosphere (the plane appears in the movie but he's not a transformer)

-Folks might want to pick up Voyager Grindor, the Blackout Repaint, when he's available, since apparently, he's a different character(same body but different head in the movie, so I guess it's not Blackout, not sure if the toy sports the new head though).

-All 3 Arcee bikes do appear in the movie, but DO NOT combine

-Ironhide does NOT get a color change

-Tattoed Starscream is the new Starscream, the tats are not explained (in the prequel comics it was revealed he did it to himself, similar to the markings on the Allspark)


-Autobot Jolt is in the movie but was a last minute additional character that was popped in as a request by Chevrolet, so he has very low screen time, but he is part of the Autobots that appear in the movie.
