Let's combine--again! It's been a decade since the 1999 Soul of Chogokin GX-03 Combattler V was first offered, and now Bandai draws from their accumulated SOC production know-how to completely redesign the toy with better proportions, detailed mechanisms, and more use of clear parts and die-cast metal goodness!
The set packs all five machines--Battle Jet, Battle Crasher, Battle Tank, Battle Marine, and Battle Craft--along with a wide variety of weapons, optional hands, and a custom display base to show them all off. Aside from its new design, the combination and movable gimmicks have also been redeveloped. The five machines can, of course, combine to form a 24cm-tall Combattler V, and the width of the robot's leg joints have been improved to allow for more dynamic posing.
Combattler V can recreate its signature Choudenji Spin and Grandasher finishers, and effect parts are provided to replicate the super robot's Choudenji Yo-Yo attack. In addition, weapons such as the Big Blast and Battle Garegga that were not included with the 1999 release are now offered in this set!

Bandai officially screws international SOC fans with the Nabara Connection!!! ngeekhiong.blogspot.com/2009/11/macross-merchandises-others-from-bandai.htmlIt will be a MAIL AWAY EXCLUSIVE!!!!!!! Using the coupon included with the Gx-50, the Nambara set will cost 19,000 Yen, not inclusive of shipping, so expect to pay around 15,000 PhP when this sucker hits secondary markets. Ohhh the humanity of it all.... Gold

Good thing i have not bought GX-03. Have both GX31 and GX43 thinking of buying GX03 just for the sake of completing the trilogy. I guess GX50 just saved my day. Looks way better now.
I wonder if bandai will do the same changes for GX31.
