Hero TV is the latest addition to the roster of cable channels in the Philippines. What makes this channel different from the rest is that they feature tagalized anime, cartoons and live action shows.
Hero TV held its grand channel launch last November 12 to 13 at the Philippine Trade Training Center at Roxas Boulevard.
To commemorate the event, Cybertron Philippines spearheaded and collaborated with collector groups such as Sentai Manila, DCPH, and PTK to showcase varied collectibles. Some of these collectibles were being shown by the channel, while others were still in the works.
On the night before the event, the collector groups as well as the sponsors were already busy setting up their booths and displays. It was a tiring experience, but seeing the venue and all the pieces coming together was well worth it.
The Big Opening came. And everyone was ready for it.
Day 1
The crowd was a little thin during the opening. But slowly, more and more fans came in the venue. Before we knew it, the Phil Trade was filled to capacity and they had to moderate people from coming in.
The first thing these fans would see is the Collector's Gallery.
Cybertron Philippines admins/moderators ThunderBreak, Protoform-S, Fero, lastmaximal, Rohml, dc723, and Ziggy Stardust came up with several themes to cater to the different Transformers fans who came to the event.
They featured toys from two different series: Beast Wars and Beast Machines, as well as a diorama of the TF: The Movie featuring Unicron.
They also showcased the Optimus Primes/Primals/Convoys from various Transformers generations. As well as the Megatrons. Finally, they showcased some priceless vintage Transformers (Star Saber and Victory Leo) and collectibles, as well as the Masterpiece Convoy.
Unleashed of PTK displayed his Soul of Chogokin collectibles as well as the battleships from different anime shows.
Blackbison and Rohml showcased dioramas depicting some of Marvel Comic's greatest battles. These were the X-Men vs the Sentinels, and Avengers & Fantastic Four vs Galactus. GunCeasar shared his SOTA Street Fighter collection as well as his Rockman EXE and Kingdom Hearts figures.
