Transformers 3 (Update: 06/14/11)

Hasbro had the photos of the toy removed by request in a lot of sites trying to control the available information before the unveiling of characters in the next movie...


I know the comics rarely make any connection to the movie i.e. the one for RotF... so here's a look at Transformers: Rising Storm #2, the official prequel to Transformers: Dark of the Moon

It has Barricade on the cover, the character who was absent in all major battles in movie 1 and 2, wasn't seen after his encounter with Bumblebee but still one of the most favorite characters to come out of this iteration of the Transformers...

- Shorter than Voyager OP (new), why? When he's been taller (in movies) than Prime since movie 1... I'd had expected this toy to be as the same size as OPs or a bit taller still... how Hasbro measures the size of the toy classes is really something else...

- Probably still a prototype, that color scheme is way too flat for a final product...

Is Megs the same class or scale with OP Voyager??? He seems really short even in truck mode.

Yup both toys are the Voyager Class figures.

The size does bother me too, I think his trailer made the toy smaller against OP because if they stick with the original scale then Megs will have to be Leader Class or something in between.

So it is possible that the old TF in the end of the promo was Sentinel Prime and he's going to be the black firetruck...

I however think that a LC Bumblebee will not be proportionate to the rest of the TF toyline...
