So it seems Go Nagai is abandoning Shin Great Mazinger (leaving the ending of Shin Mazinger rather hanging) in favor of the new Mazinkaiser Anime. Mazinkaiser SKL (read as Skull).  Thanks to Quinjester over at Robotjapan for the image.  Gold |

Skull Pilder anyone? This anime looks like it will be nice. I hope thay have a great story to go along with it. Shin Great Mazinger abandoned? I think that would have been a great thing. Maybe it will be back later. They have to do a Shin Grendizer too. |

seems to me the 'mazinger' universe/timeline/franchise is getting more and more far out. I wonder what inspired the skull motif? Mazinkaiser's design is already as goth as it can be.
