thanks, gold! and for the new info on other jee accessories, too. wow, a GI Joe Flagg! the holy grail! you must have lots of space now to fit that behemoth in your house. Thanks Bruticus, the Flagg itself takes up about 7 feet. It's only temporary (had to set it up in the living room while my folks are away, thus the "window" of oppurtunity) so I'll take only a few pics and take it down again in a few days before the folks come home and accidentally trample it to death Gold

Whew, very long overdue but here's the CMs Corp Brave Gokin #35 Koutetsu Jeeg Please click on videos to begin playback. Comes with 2 versions of Hiroshi, the original Cyborg Hiroshi (left) and Shin Cyborg Hiroshi (right). Hiroshi Transforms yet again. The figures aren’t well articulated. Only in the shoulders and knees. They’re about over an inch tall. Transformation. I don’t really recommend transforming the head too often, it requires shoving Jeegs’ “chin plate” in Hiroshi’s back a lot, and the joint holding the chin plate is a simple joint that can pop free. So repeated wear and tear will result in the chin plate becoming loose or worse, completely be unable to clip onto the peg anymore. Build up!! Jeeg Stands about 6.5 Inches tall. Weaponry Knuckle Bomber – Cm’s Corp included an optional set of shoulders for you to use to pose Jeeg in Knuckle Bomber position. Trigger release Jeeg Buckler- an optional set of forearms are included for attaching the Bucklers. For whatever reason, Cm’s used different forearms here instead of the default forearms, even though you still have to plug it into the Buckler’s peg anyway. Mach Drill Jeeg Bazooka Spin Storm!! Panzeroid Panzeroid Boost in!! Jeeg Lance Interesting note: Rubber soles on the feet. Similar to the Gx-42 Shin Jeeg. With the SOC Gx-42 Shin Jeeg. Jeeg weighs around 322 Grams. Shin Jeeg is around 280 Grams (Note: I did some Photoshop here, there’s no way the Shin Jeeg can pose its leg that high. ) My only real gripe is the spring gimmick forearms. I wish there were optional set that were just simple forearms, since we already get a special forearm set for the Knuckle Bomber anyway. As is, I have to hold down one of the triggers on the forearms as I push in the fist, otherwise the peg won’t lock in. Overall, not bad, it’s better than what I expected. Lots of diecast parts on Jeeg itself (think Gx-01R Mazinger). The Magnets hold very, very well and don’t spin around like Barattack (yikes, that one was a mess). Also I prefer it over the SOC Shin Jeeg. Brave Gokin 35 is bit expensive though and the Panzeroid has zero diecast parts. If you’re a fan, I would recommend it. Gold

Thanks for the review, Gold. The gloves and pendant do make up for the absence of the horse. And I suppose the very limited 300 units explains the high cost.
Excellent haul, congratz!

Finally!!! An update on the Big Shooter! But sadly it will not come with the upgrade parts and will be a stand alone unit.. pretty pricey too for 18,800 Yen. Coming late April thanks to sdvjen over at Robotjapan Looking at the c0ckpit image, you can swap out the pilots. I'm not sure if the figures included are posey though. Probably not. Gold

Hi all, here's a quick look at CM's Corp. Brave Gokin 37 Big Shooter Big Shooter Go!! (click image for video playback) Ok, seriously, who designs a launch rail like that? I'm surprised Miwa doesn't pass out or puke every time she needs to head out. Poor girl. Or maybe she's just an adrenaline junkie... Pilot figures of Miwa Uzuki and Hiroshi Shiba fit inside. Each figure has articulated shoulder joints. The c0ckpit hatch hinge is a magnet too. Big Shooter opens up to store the Jeeg parts. It will take two decks to store the arms and legs. Jeeg's weapons can all be stored inside as well (except the Panzeriod) Pay special attention when storing the Mach Drills, as the wings need to be positioned a certain way to prevent damage If nothing else, you can use the Big Shooter as a weapons stand, it can even store Jeeg's extra fists. Thanks to the magnets, you can mix and match the parts. The Good-Big shooter is impressively heavy! You feel the heft once you lift the main body out of the tray. Weighs about 550 Grams. The main section of the ship is almost 90% heavy diecast, the rest of the wing attachments are plastic. -Insanely super strong magnets!! You will need to apply some force to pry the parts loose. Kind of like pulling semi-hard clay apart. The Bad-Wow.. Cm's really cut costs on the box. The finish isn't glossy and looks kind of cheap. Especially next to the shiny gloss of the Jeeg box. -Be mindful of the release button for the Big Shooter's main section. It's very hard to open up the "clamshell" as you need to press and at the same time pry open the halves. The UglyPROBLEM AREA ALERTThe hinges on for opening the storage sections for the Jeeg legs creaks loudly on one side. I don't know if this is just my unit but it is kinda scary, it sounds like the plastic is really undergoing stress when you open it. I didn't have the chance to try putting the SOC Shin Jeeg into the Big Shooter but I doubt all of the pieces will fit in, if ever, the robust shoulders of the Shin Jeeg will definitely not fit in there. Overall a great set (provided you don't encounter the loud creaking hinge problem with the storage hatches). I was expecting little metal and lots of plastic with this set, I'm glad I was wrong. You will feel the heft of the main section when you remove it from the tray and it will make you stop and admire it for a moment. A really good follow up to the CM's Corp Jeeg. Hmm if ever CM's Corp. makes a stand alone Spacer for their Grendizer, and make it like this (HEAVY diecast main body) then that would be awesome! Gold

Hi all, here's the review for the CM's Brave Gokin 38 Jeeg Option Parts. This is the "Toyshunter. It" Italian Exclusive version, contains a total of 3 bodies instead of just 1, so that each Option Part can be displayed all at once. This version was shipped out a month later than the standard release. Earth Parts Earth parts in action! Right Drill shoot! Left Drill shoot! Earth mode Marine Parts Marine Parts in action! Rubber soles here as well. There's a ball joint it the ankles. Marine Missiles! Marine Mode The propellers can move. Nice detail here. No spring action gimmick though. Sky Parts Sky Parts in action! Flight mode Thanks to the extra bodies, you can display all 3 alternate modes at once. I do sort of wish the bodies came with the standard set too. The Good-Plenty of diecast parts, generally the shoulders, thighs and feet (except for the Marine parts, plastic feet), and Sky Parts (diecast lower legs too). The Brave 35 Jeeg had plastic shoulders -Metal also present in this part of the Sky Parts "backpack". -Rubber soles for the feet. Good call by CM's, This really helps stabilize the figure. -Varying weigh ---Sky Parts- 271 Grams ---Marine Parts- 229 Grams. ---Earth Parts- 294 Grams -Excellent ratchet joints worked into the shoulder designs -Rubber treads for the Earth Parts. -Impressive design work for the "backpack" on the Sky Parts. In the Anime, the legs just "morphs" into jet mode. The backpack doesn't make the toy off-balanced either. The Bad-No markings for the Italian "3 bodies" version on the box. If you plan to purchase the 3 bodies set, better make sure the seller is highly reliable. -Plastic torso. In the Brave 35, the Jeeg had diecast upper torso. Cost cutting measure here, I guess. The difference in weight is about 50 Grams (100 Gram for the diecast torso, 50 Grams for the plastic torso). The UglyNo really ugly problems with this set, but there is one small hiccup that somewhat annoys me, the shoulder spikes for the Earth Parts. In the Anime, the blades for both sides are pointing backwards, but in the toy, they're facing in opposite directions. More cost cutting? I don't know, it does seem that it should have been an easy fix. Overall, I like it, the set won't disappoint fans of the series and it is a great add-on to the Brave 35 Jeeg. or even as a stand alone set. I recommend getting the extra bodies version if you can find it. It's a bit annoying that there is no way to tell which version has the extra bodies as the box has no markings indicating it. So one will have to buy only from a trusted seller. I have no idea how limited the extra bodies version is, but the black Jeeg Option Parts set is limited to 150 Units. If anyone has any additional info on this please feel free to add. One last thing, the extra bodies are just in a baggie and precariously taped to the bottom of the box. I don't think this is safe as over time you might forget they're there and they might fall out of the box when you pull out the styro tray next time. I recommend placing the extra bodies somewhere else (close to the toy, of course) if you plan to store the toy after you open it. Mine, I just put the bodies back in their original baggies and put them in a ziploc bag. But that's just me. Gold
