Sometimes modding takes a toll on all other kits you're working on, specially when you're new to it. Hence I have so much delay when I only have a few hours every night to work on. Seravee 2 is really going slow because of planning and repairs, specially when some materials don't work as they are suppose to. And Harute is getting a special upgrade I hope I can do justice. Anyhoo a little contemplation came my way regarding HG Bear Acguy. This kit will come with the least amount of 133 used parts from the rest of the kits I've done so far with probably the same price as a Beginning Gundam which has 191 used parts. By far the I can personally suggest 1/144 Gundam 00 Qan [T] and GPB Super Custom Zaku F2000 (or the Zaku F2s) as gifts to kids who like Gundam. Both kits are easy to build and with least amount of work specially on painting. So for the time being I'll have this to announce for the next review which I hope is still fresh for those who want to build theirs...

Very nice review on your completed kits and also you have that limited 1/100 HG G Gundam well preserved Thanks, well for the most part of it yeah... it's age is evident from chipping chrome to fading gold since the Gundam doesn't come in clear bronze yellow plastic similar to the Turn A Sumo. Seravee 2 Update pics the arms are white because it came from Cherudim since Seravee is not available at the time when I started this project:

Gundpla Builders Beginning G 003
GPB-06F Super Custom Zaku F2000 Technical Details: Scale Size: Height: 17.8 meters 12.361 cm Weight: 200 tons Prologue GPB-06F Super Custom Zaku F2000, the F2 should already have given away the clue on what this Mobile Suit is from. The recent release of Zaku F2 kits for the HGUC series of the same scale are it's direct cousins or maybe even siblings. This is a complete Zaku F2 kit in 3 shades of purple/violet which you can leave at that and have a set of 3 color variants. GPB-06F Super Custom Zaku F2000, the third Mobile Suit in the Gunpla Builders series is in a manner of speaking a two in one kit. You can finish it as a Zaku F2 then go for the Zaku F2000. This is evident in the anime wherein its armors crumbled from battling Beginning Gundam and the white Hyaku Shiki. But the anime was not accurate to the kit itself since underneath the armors of the F2000 is not the F2 zaku itself, the anime portrays a regular Mobile Suit with armor breaking apart. This was the case for the Hi-Nu and Beginning Gundams in episode 1 where their Mobile Suits break apart like broken model kit halves. Box Cover True to the 3 episode mini series, GPB-06F Super Custom Zaku F2000 comes with the illustrated Zaku with the inside of a Space Colony they entered as the backdrop. Parts The 8 parts trees are enough to complete a Zaku F2 and F2000 although you may have to either swap a few parts from the Polycap tree if you want the Zaku F2 ready anytime you want to have an armor swap. Most parts are molded in their correct colors and variants of purple hue except for a set of closed fist hands which are grey, you can either prime and paintit or leave it be... The kit has 244 plastic parts with 26 parts specifically for the Zaku F2, leaving you with 218 parts to complete this kit. The manual doesn't include the chest parts of the Zaku F2 in Sprue tree "A" but they are included nonetheless. It may have been Bandai's original intention to not include this extra parts but removing them will probably need to reengineer the plastic molds to make the plastic run smoother during production. Fit is great as you will barely need to remove seam lines on the Mobile Suit itself but the weapons will indeed require clean-up depending on how you glue halves together. If you want to swap their armors you'll have to leave some parts unglued like: - the lower leg because you'll have to remove and replace a part inside (B-24/26, B-25/27), - the "neck cover" (A-32), - both Missile packs (D-8/9) or you can snip some plastic on the leg straps for Zaku F2 (A-7 & 8), - both spiked kneecaps because parts B-10 (shield) are the knee caps for Zaku F2, - part F-5 is not a part of Zaku F2, - head, he has 3 head cap variants so you may want to keep those useful as well, - part E-3, because Zaku F2 uses a different "ass"embly (pun intended, ass assembly for those who couldn't grasp the joke) - and last, the bottom of the foot/feet which easily pops off for swapping.

Sadly my old PC just crashed while I was doing some Photoshop jobs... it's going to be a very long while before I can find a replacement... so for the time being I will have to limit my pix to the bare almost unadjusted (camera positions and picture angle) uploads. I'm usually cropping and adjusting the angle at home so having to use Microsoft Paint for photo adjustment (because it's the only one available at hand) I hope you can understand. Reviews will come later when the kits are done... For the time being here's what I got this week: I wasn't going to get this having been frustrated with the very tiny parts in the RG RX-78-2, but I was having second thoughts on Bear Acguy since i have to weight in their parts count at 290 (RG Zaku 2) over 133 (Bear Acguy)... The Sinanju was tempting, but to get it I will be tempted to get a Unicorn and the story goes on... I think I have a rare freebie here since most RG Zaku 2s don't come with the display base similar to the one offered for the RG RX-78-2. Whether Bandai is coming out with a 1:1 scale Zaku in the future, this kit is following on the RG RX-78-2s detail and color ctyling of different variants of orange... Anyhoo, I'm done with the leg inner frames in just 2-3 hours having a few minutes looking for tiny jet boosters popping off my big hands... LOL ;D The Collectibles fare grabs which I needed and got my attention: This I got for Seravee 2, for those who are kit bashing I will not suggest this kit... The machines were my friend at the time... LOL Next time Harute... I just have to write the review first... Thanks for looking

xentar - thanks... although you'll probably have to wait til January because I'm up to my armpits (figure of speech) with what I have to deal with Zabanya or Za-bad-ya because WTH was Bandai thinking... Harute will be up soon unless my PC breaks down again... Seravee 2 is going really slow and as always some materials don't stick properly... Here's the lowdown, I'm really disappointed with how they molded both Zabanya and Harute... Raphael was ok other than the fact that my copy had a slight manufacture cracks... RainerO - thanks, I'm a picky buyer that's why I always take too long looking for what I really like... the sad thing is I don't have the same eye for fashion... LOL Yup, Seravee has a KO, the bad thing is the plastic they is like different in every model unlike Bandai. i.e. KO Cherudim reacts better to Tamiya cement than Seravee. My sole purpose was to use his arms for Seravee 2 because they share the same design including some parts of the weapon... and I needed Cherudim because of the upper thigh which connects to the crotch section is the right one which also allow additional articulation in Gundam form and steady position in weapon form. For completists the purple Zaku F2 is a nice addition... I think it has lower crotch than the RG Zaku 2 though... Funny thing happened to me this week. As I mentioned, my PC gave me that boot error which I can't repair... I got the HDD removed and had to pay outside for some important files moved to my 160G portable. Their PC initiated the Checkdisk on my HDD, which was one of the ways to partially repair it, and viola... when I returned home and replaced the HDD, the PC is running again... Until I can replace my PC, I will have to clean reinstall my OS so I can use it for a few more months or a year even... Anyhoo, Merry Christmas Everyone!!! ;D ;D ;D

1/144 GN-011 Gundam Harute[glow=red,2,300]Note:
Most of the pictures are taken before my PC crashed and unless requested they will not be replaced. The only new photo in the set is the second to the last which shows of the "orb" detail.[/glow]Technical Details: Scale Size: Height: 19 meters 13.194 cm Weight: 77.1 tons Armaments: GN Sword, GN Rifle, GN Cannon Prologue Produced by Bandai for the recently released Gundam 00 movie (also DVD and Blu-ray). It depicts the Mobile Suit in the small scale of 1/144. Although there's hardly an accurate illustration of the whole Gundam available other than a few pictures also available in the manual. This kit is not as newbie friendly as the Qan [T] of the same scale, but with serious dedication to build it accurately you can achieve a decent finish. Box Cover First thing you’ll notice is the different take on the HG Gundam 00 line, the box is mostly in white white the Gundam Harute in action pose firing it's Beam Rifles, however unlike the Special Edition Clear Version this box covers cannot interlock to reveal a giant poster. On one side depicts the Gundam specific color, in this case orange. Parts Luckily most parts in orange are molded in the correct color thus the need to get a bottle of paint or a Gundam Marker is alleviated. The 189 parts however are not crisply detailed as the Qan [T], Zabanya and the Raphael; this is most evident on the "black" plastic parts on its leg. These parts were traditionally molded in two halves thus losing some detail on the sides which in the finished kit is found at the back of the legs. The Gundam It was not an easy build and for those who haven't built theirs yet, do not combine the backpack/ship behind him and the GN Cannon since these parts are too heavy and will most likely loosen the polycaps before you finish the kit. Study the manual before starting because you will need to paint a lot of parts on this kit and the included sticker will not help. The Flight Mode is supported by the same "ahem" butthole so it rotates gradually, just make sure keep it balanced or it will topple from all the weight still. Gundam harute is a bit shorter than Gundam Raphael both without their backpacks, although since i still am working on Seravee 2 I couldn't compare their height with the backpacks. Using the orb details I printed for the Qan [T], it gives additional equality for the group having been designed with the orbs on their arms. Sadly the head is too small to give it the Marute adjustment I was planning. The Bad Other than the black plastic on the legs the only concern I have for this Gundam is it's being back heavy. The "shoes" don't help either especially when it gets loose already. His front skirt pop out a lot because of a loose fit, unless this is only in my kit. It constanly topple backwards unless however you place it on a Gundam stand using it's butt hole... LOL If you can be patient enough to mod this kit then you can do a lot of stuff especially on its backpack ship, other than that you can only achieve a minor Marute Mode without the head. Paneling is a pain, most parts don't allow the wash method to run smoothly although there so many large gaps that a Gundam marker or CD Labeler Permanent Marker couldn't handle with ease. Pose #3 is my rendition of what the Marute Mode should look like because there are indentations in these parts that suggest it. If this kit make it to a 1/100 NG or MG kit, I hope they come out with the Marute Mode because the head on this scale is way too difficult and time consuming to make... Conclusion For new Gundam modelers this kit is not an easy build. You can not the satisfaction of an out of the box finish without painting parts of this kit. Gundam Harute does not come with a Gundam Stand so it is advisable to either have the Qan [T] or any other Gundam with a stand or get a separately sold stand because a slight shake will topple him down. For enthusiasts there's a lot you can do to pimp this Gundam as long as you like handling 1/144 kits. Up Next is Gundam Zabanya... just finished paneling along with the RG Zaku II... and as before, Raphael will take a back seat for now...

One thing I forgot to mention however is that if Harute has bigger feet, I could have placed some weights for balance. But since the Gundam is wearing high heels, it's still going to be a difficult challenge finding a center for its gravity. Just finished with RG MS-06S Zaku II last night while watching UFC on 23... a sad New Year for our Pinoy MMA fighter Brandon Vera... I do hope he bounce back with that nasty broken nose... RG MS-06S Zaku II is not as difficult to build since it's my second RG kit, although it's still not a kit I can recommend for beginners. Last night was dedicated to the last few hours of applying the stickers... Next is the Wipe N Shine ehem "shine"... which I don't know how I will go about doing it... I don't have an AB since the last time I broke mine... I take it easy for the time being as my thumb has taken the toll on handling the tiny parts... Thanks for reading, until next time...
