Good day, First of all we would like to thank you for giving us are request, but we have questions that needs answers I apologies for being "makulit'
first question sir, Will we need to shell out money for the food ? If we do its OK sir for some but it will be better if its free (hehehehe)

If the xmas party would be in sat? what time will it be held? I'd prefer it to be on th 16th but for people who have classes or work the next day, the event must be done during lunch time or it should be able to finish by noon. Just an opinion guys.
I'm an events manager by the way so if you guys need anything regarding the matter you can PM me.

based from my observation:
1. based from your posts (the first ones, not the edited ones), you guys are asking for an EB only.
2. then it turned into a christmas party.
3. now you're asking for the owner Malvin (definitely not "MR. GREATTOYS" in the formal sense), for FULL support in the expenses - from activities to prizes. talk about putting someone in the spotlight forcibly.
i think you should consider some things - i appreciate your sentiments and your desire to get to know other members of the gt forum, but i think your objectives is unclear and your approach is ethically wrong.
its like one saying "uy! party tayo!" then when everyone asks the who-what-where-when-how questions, the next thing that person says "ewan ko, basta ikaw (pointing to someone else at random) bahala sa lahat!"
also, now that the situation has come to this - the party is now under the owner, malvin's discretion (with the suggestions of the soon-to-be guests, of course) but im sure that it would be definitely helpful if someone is willing to come up with the activities and such for the event.
since you're the primary "endorser" of this event and everyone can see your enthusiasm from all your posts related to this event, i think it would be best if you handle it to the best of your abilities or at least have someone (or a group) willing to help physically and not "spokeningly" (if there is such a word) with the plans and such.
im defintely sure malvin will appreciate all the help he can get to make this event be successful. after all, who doesnt want to have fun?
just my ten million cents.
by the way, it would be definitely be better if you called to him directly or talked to him personally.
finally, i'd like to share this tried and proven tagalog saying:
"kung gusto maraming paraan, kung ayaw maraming dahilan."
looking forward to further progress.

cmon guys. i cud sense some tension in this board already. the sarcasm in this thread is so thick right now its getting hard to breathe.  lets not think of how to hinder this gathering. let's think of things that cud help this event move forward. - first of all, let's finalize if this gathering will be 'SPONSORED' or not. Lets make it official. Our intention was just to have an informal EB but things kinda got haywire once somebody claiming this EB to be a sponsored event. -im not that close with Malvin, if anyone knows him, a little helping hand here wud be greatly appreciated. I just hope Malvin cud make an official statement about this so called Christmas Party. -V2, with all my respect and honor to you as a member of this forum, your last post was really unnecessary. the reply with '.............................'. cmon, what was the thought in that? sarcasm? aggravation? annoyance? indifference? Just a rheotorical question, you dont have to answer that.  -i think we all should start taking productive actions if we do want to have this EB. i have alreay pmed Malvin so we could finalize if he will help participate in sponsoring this party or not. -based on the previous posts, ive noticed that the members of this forum are divided into 2. those who want this event to happen, and those who see this eb as a joke. cmon amigos, its just this simple, if's either your with us or against us. if your against us, stop making unnecessary posts and remarks. let's try to grow up and gain an IQ. -COULD WE PLEASE STOP POINTING FINGERS ALSO!!! Im not just saying this because I personally know him, it's because with every post he has made you make a wise remark or clever quip that kinda degrades him. I think we both know which posts im talking about. stop treating him like a neophyte or child of some sort. im not directly telling you WHAT TO DO, but i am just suggesting to please choose your words with him/us. cmon, we are all friends here in this friendly forum. lets not start waging wars and step on other people.
