What Era of Gundam do you like?

UC for me! all my fave mechs are there. hehe. the RX-93 (NU), Sazabi, Nueziel, Gerbera Tetra, and the Goufs!

UC century only because 4 Murasame looked like my first GF. Except her hair wasnt green. Sayla (older version) is hot too hehehe

Seriously the original one is always the best. All the others are just like spinoffs /rehashes of the basic spacenoid vs earthling storyline

I didn't really pay attention to Gundam even when Gundam Wing was being shown on cable TV...But upon seeing Gundam SEED, I was hooked, the animation, story and mecha just got my attention...Its also part of the reason I started collecting Gundam model kits...Sadly though, I was somewhat disappointed with GS Destiny but overall it was still a good watch until the latter episodes...

UC. Like loosecannon, seed was what caught my attention. However, stardust memory, char's counter attack and the ms 8th team are what really did it for me

I got hooked with Deathscythe of Gundam Wing but after seeing the SEED series, I really went crazy! After sometime, I got addicted to the Zeta series! I guess I like both eras! ;D

- STORY -
love the AMURO/CHAR conflict from the first Gundam UC series way back 1979.
di lang ako nakuntento sa ending nang Char's Counterattack.
yan lang dalawa ang napanood ko from the UC series because of Amuro and Char. hehehe.
tapos, bitin pa ending nang Char's Counterattack.

that's why i choose...

COSMIC ERA - it's a GUNDAM-franchise restart concept.
it has same issues on politics, love, hate, discrimination,
betrayals and personal conflicts like the UC series.
and since it's a restart, hindi mahirap kapain yung story.
though i'm not happy with the ending of SEED Destiny,
but after watching the special episode entitled 'FINAL PLUS'. pumasa na rin.

- MECHAS -
For simplicity & classic designs i go with:
Amuro's RX-78 (Gundam) & RX-93 (Nu-Gundam)
Char's Zaku & Sazabi
(sorry. masyado akong biased sa dalawa dahil favorite ko sila. )

For new concepts, weapons & uniqueness i go with:
Strike - a muscled-version and resemblance of RX-78
Freedom - lahat nasa kanya na. cool. ;D

UC series all the way. Nothing beats the original, even CE era (sorry Gundam Seed lovers)

GS(D) - nice mature story & characters but I hated most of the Gundams.

GW - beautiful powerful Gundams, strong main characters, lame story.

Its a close call for me but COSMIC ERA is my fave.

i started out with wing series, then g series, and then seed, seed destiny, but got to watch the uc gundam series. from 079, 0080, 0083, X, Z and ZZ. and i loved it well except for ZZ although am just halfway thru the series, sabi nila mag seryoso pa daw yun :rolleyes: . . . so UC for me!

My first & favourite is still G Gundam so I vote for Future Century...

I love all the other series but this is show that taught me to love Gundams....hehehe.... ;d
