Wala na nga bang pag-asa ang Pinas i dont believe na meron Ah... come on, bro. You're too negative. Well all those who has power in this country are all corrupted by it one way or the another but if we, the people, start to lose hope for own sakes then its true, it'll all be hopeless. tarsierI'm really sorry for what happened to you bro. You did the right thing and tried your best to keep your love ones safe. Whether you're prepared for something like that or not, when it comes down to making decisions between those you love and material things, hands down you need to protect lives. Its a sad thing for your ride to be jacked and all your possessions to be taken away but at least you live to see it through. Just remember: "What goes around, comes around". I hope the trauma will pass soon.

Glad nothing very serious happened to you guys.
Word of advice, if a vehicle with blinkers and wang-wangs tries to stop you and there are no markings of PNP on it, just drive the hell away and get to the nearest police station. The same goes with checkpoints. Make sure they have the PNP insignia and signs.
Also don't try to fight them if you get into trouble anyway. Even martial arts experts would advise people that the best defense in a situation with criminals is running away, or giving your valuables instead of risking your life.
They are usually strike at areas were there are nearby hangouts for rich or well-off people. Greenhills is one, there has also been incidents near Tomas Morato, Timog and Quezon Ave. I suspect that with their modus operandi getting more heat, they'll probably be striking somewhere else. So guys who'll be hanging out in Intramuros, The Fort, Greenbelt past midnight and others make sure to take main roads and not side streets as much as possible.

One of the reasons why I left the Philippines. You just don't have that sense of security. The people that you supposed to trust (military and police) are the ones that commit the crimes. Wala na nga bang pag-asa ang Pinas nah i don't believe it everywhere you go even in the other countries don't have the sense of security that we are looking for even on a well secured countries. The only realy sense of security is you or ourselves because we need to be careful everyday when we walk to the streets or do something on road that we don't hurt somebody or someone else. That is the sense of security. If we know how to be careful for ourselves then we will not end up beating. Just feel those aura's that surround you and if you feel discomfort or doesn't feel right (kailangan mong maging newtype hehehe) just leave don't confront it will only hurt you. Kung baga pag naglalakad ka on the streets or anywhere else or driving on the road I killer eyes mo nalang sila para masindak sila .... ;D
