Mga bro wala ng pagasa ang Pilipinas. We have never learned our lesson as a nation. We have been through Marcos, and Erap. And we even demonize people who are working for our country like GMA. A nursing student was shot while walking home from school. This happened in UST and when people asked where the police were - a man replied they were in the rally. We are so immature as a people. The Majority are uneducated sheep who get fooled by communist wolves to rebel against the shepherd. I wouldn't mind shooting Satur Ocampo's head point blank right now.
As for the carjacking, dapat talaga i give up na ng mga congressmen mga porkbarrel nila just to have more police patrolling the streets. ALSO we should adopt the NATional ID system so we can pinpoint and catch vermin like carjackers/holduppers/estafadors with due haste so that people can learn the meaning of justice and accountabilty.
To the person who was carjacked, i sympathize with you. That was indeed a harrowing experience that no one should ever go through. All i can say is that be thankful for you are still alive and that your loved ones were spared. Let's just hope those carjackers get what they deserve.

i agree na may pag-asa pa... but not for our country, but for ourselves... diskarte lang yan... we are merely preys for the leeches (government)... and it's up to us on how we're gonna evade it... right???

Or I think we really need the anti-terror bill I think that is much more effective than a national id system. I think the anti-terror bill was already implemented in other countries as well.

politics in the philippines is like business...
so whatever the reason is for the delay of the approval of the bill.. i'm sure that somebody's pocket is gonna be making something out of it...
ay naku.. kung gagawan ng RPG game ang plot ng pinas... medyo boring siguro... sobrang simpletons ng mga namumuno... you'll know what they're gonna do.. say ... think .. or act... it's like watching telenovelas...
the philippine's history won't be as exciting as the jap's if made into animation..

The national id will be effective especially if we have a fingerprint bank. Look at the way crime is solved in CSI? It may be idealized since its tV pero the concept of having people's fingerprints tagged and put in a database is an effective means of finding a criminal especially if you're in the loop. Which basically means that whn you commit a crime you have a RECORD for life that stays in the system. Kung sa tagalog may bahid na ang reputasyon mo. Analogy is the Scarlet letter/ a red flag that signals our lame brain police na you're a likely suspect especially if you're fingerprints are found on the scene.

man, kina-career na ng mga carjackers.... pati sa PTK meron din victim...
last night nkita ko sa TV na binaril ng mga pulis ung carjackers... 3 of the suspects were inside a car then pina ulanan ng bala ng mga pulis... the 3 died by a shot in the head... one of them was only 21 years old and they had guns inside the car...
my only guess here is that the guns are planted... and that the suspects were innocent and became victims of the carjackers--the police...

Mahirap na talga gumimik pag gabi...Only in the Phils talaga, police who are incompetent to protect you and your rights but cunning enough to steal from you and slaughter you. That's the legacy of Marcos.

That may be possible, but another possibility could be simply overkill. We already know that some cops actually practice vigilantism when they are paid by angry victims, and the cops themselves are sick and tired of catching and releasing scumbags. They probably didn't want to hassle themselves with having to go through the court since some of the suspects were from influencial families. Another stupid thing this cops did were they were in an unmarked vehicle. What idiots! Many of these carjackers often masquerade as cops so it is not doubtful that someone would not stop when flagged down by suspicious cops driving unmarked cars. I'm all for a national ID system, but thanks to stupid grandstanding populist politicians and "human rights" comissions who seem to specialize in protecting only the rights of criminals, this would still take a while. Look at how GMA keeps delaying executions and the slow pace of the terrorism bill. Look at how many of the MMDA's policies (while some are questionable) that it seems that people are complaining when the government really enforces the law. Many Filipinos are so undisciplined that they will cry oppression, martial law or harassment every time the government has to enforce its laws. I also hate those militant groups. They keep whining about getting GMA out but they offer no credible replacement or solution. Their poor grasp of economics and their over-bias to the worker class guarantees that would run every business to the ground if they took over. The beating up of pro-GMA people at the People's Court shows how they will respond to people who do not share their beliefs. Many of the politicians in the opposition are absolutely useless, questioning everything like the North Rail and NAIA 3, and doing absolutely nothing.

i thought naia3 will finally be open on june but bec. of politics it is delayed once agen and worst there is no defifnite time when it will be open, everytime we delayed the operation of naia3 we lost a lot of money and lost some tourist, the north rail is also being questioned they say dat the north rail proj. is overpriced, but up to now the senate and congress doesn't investigate wether the proj. is overpriced, i hope our so called "leaders" work togehter and stop being political so dat our country can move on. ;D
