Does flat coating the revoltech work to remove the plastic gloss? And has anyone tried it? im not quite familiar with the line but i have a lot of faves like the getter, mazinkaiser, prime and other robot designs Thanks in advance!

LoturI think it will work (not also sure...hmmm it might melt the pvc plastic of the revoltech) anyway i just finished one model kit from Bandai. It's MC Mazinger Z 1/144, the pastic material is also glossy so what i did is sprayed it with Tamiya clear flat without even sanding the parts & i also put some highlights or weathering/shading on the finished kit. I also prefer flat finished compare to glossy one Here's what i did to my kit: Hope this one helps

Wow Mykonos07, it looks really good with the weathering effects there. Now, i can Imagine how it would roughly look for Revoltechs. But I honestly have not tried flat coating my figs yet Lotur. Maybe if i have duplicates, i might do some customs and let you know immediately:)
