The next masterpiece type Takara toy, the Brave Fighter Exkaiser(shown with original Takara version below) Transforms, combines with "trailer" and supposedly comes with diecast goodness ;D Almost the same price as MPC Opti(4500-5000 PhP), and is the first Braver show to come out(Gaogaigar being the last) Release date puts it around Christmas Gold

Yep, this Christmas, the size is only 9 inches though, while the 1990 classic Takara toy is 12 inches. I'm also having trouble discerning if there's any poseabilty in the legs of King Exkaiser(when he's in full combined mode). The pics only show them spread apart, but no forward leg articulation is shown. If the diecast content is as good as MPC opti then this is going to be worth checking out. Gold

[ So it looks like its going to be on scale with CMS tv Gaogaigar.
... but it still looks a bit chunky compared to the anime.

to gold: looking at the box pic there seem to be some forward articulation on the legs. since the knees are bent back a bit, that would mean the legs should be able to move forward a little to balance it. otherwise the entire thing would look like it was leaning back.

Hey, thanks, I didn't notice that. BTW, HLJ lists a followup to this toy in March 2006, MP-B02 Brave Dragon Kaiser. I'm not too familiar with the series though, do King exkaiser and Dragon Kaiser combine? Gold

Sweet! Although I had hoped for a styrofoam tray than the kind they used with the MPC Opti... I wonder how the diecast content on this thing goes? Thanks for the images Ultra Optimus! Gold

Here are a few shots taken by Toyboxdx's Drifand on the Exkaiser(with the CMs Gaogaigar).. The scale is a bit off though..since Great Exkaiser will be 12 inches while GGG is only 10inches(correct scale should be GGG=Great Exkaiser dapat).... In short King Exkaiser should be a bit shorter pa in these pics if it's to match. Pic 1 pic 2 pic3 Not bad , I like the last pose best... . There's diecast in Exkaiser's legs and King Exkaiser's lion chest, the legs and the shoulders. Oh yeah, according to the review the little "ninja star" accessory spins BTW here's a minipic of the DragonKaiser and Great Exkaiser... I don't know.. the proportions are waaaay off compared to the anime image I posted above.. hopefully they'll fix this in the final toy... Gold
