Here's good news to Dancouga Nova fans, CM's next Brave Gokin #16 will be none othe than Dancouga Nova. The set will include 4 Dancouga vehicles and R-Daigun capable of combining to Dancouga Max God mode. Check out the official protoype pic from CM's website: Also check out these scaneed pics courtesy of walkermachine of Toysdaily Thanks to bizzio and xiombarg of Robotjapan forums for the news.

Here's some size comparison between Dancouga Nova and CM's other Brave Gokin, Goshogun. Again, thanks to xiombarg of Robotjapan for the heads-up.

Wow.. I'm surprised Bandai didn't pick this one up? Thanks for the great news Heer0san. This makes me wonder if Maxfactory will still be rolling out their version? Gold

Heads-up, CM's updated the Dancouga Nova website with more pics of the four Dancouga mecha in Vehicle, Aggressive beast and Humanoid modes as well in God Beast mode and accessories.

Wow that price hurts a lot. So is this only available thru the CM site?

Kinda, you can place a pre order deposit through their site, the bad news is, they don't accept international orders. So I guess we can only hope Malvin can bring this one in through his (Japan-based?) contacts and suppliers.

Interesting news from Toydaily, it seems that CMS has CANCELLED this project. According to this link: www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-54331-7-1.htmlUse Babel Fish to translate (Chinese-Traditional to English) and it roughly says that CMs Dancougar Nova is limited to 1000 pieces but they only mustered 200 orders. So CMs decided to scrub the toy. The thread goes on to say that stores called up some of the people who pre-paid to pickup their refunds. Although at $600+ I can't blame them. It's a huge expense and I think the toy will mostly be plastic anyway (judging from their Great Baan Gaan toy last year). Plus the Anime wasn't that hot either (calling it "dull" is already a compliment) Thanks to DaikuMaryu over at Robot Japan for the headsup on the status of this toy that will never see the light of day. Cant say Im sad this happened. Im not a a big fan of CM's anyway and I think the quality of their toys really suck IMHO (no offense CM's fans ). Here's hoping Bandai picks up where CMS left off.

Agreed, I think CMs pegged this toy too high (it might've gone higher with the price of everything going up nowdays I think). Seeing as how the SOC ver is less than a third of what this guy costs. A shame though, I really wanted to see the engineering for the R-Daigun. BTW Cms is still releasing the MAS (Mecha Action Series) Dancougar Nova PVC Action figure for those who need their Dancougar Nova fix. Gold
