Broadcast 38 blaster
Function: Audio correspondent
Transformation: Radio cassette player
Ability: Can receive radio signals of all frequencies. Can also detect radio wave out-puts as low as 1/1000,000 watts. Can produce powerful electromagnetic waves to transmit over long distances.
Character: Has a big interest in Earth music. He is also relied on to be the centre of signal communications for the Cybertrons.
Weapons: Electro-scrambler gun
The translated specs are courtesy of Soundwave Oblivion's site.
This is the first time I own one eversince the Studio Ox fighting scene in the Takara catalogue, I've been praying for one.
Description:
( unconfirmed so to Protoform S or lastmaximal, please clarify this: In another site, someone maintained that there are two versions, the one with the removal back compartment and another that has a flat solid back )
Before MTV's pimp my ride, Stereo components of Blaster's caliber were next to nothing, the standard needed to be fulfilled, even in the cartoon, breakdancers were utilizing him to throw about the various background special effects on the streets.
Blaster is one huge (tall and muscular by human standards) Cybertron. Composed of yellow(chest plate), red (body and arms) and grey (legs).
Height: around that of Ultra Magnus G1(not counting Magnus' shoulders), next to Soundwave, the Destron is (a midget...............really)
Face: almost like a visored Roman soldier's helmet.
Transformation details: More intricate that Soundwave, especially the hand twisting extensions.
Gimmicks: he's got a locking mechanism (right button), release lock(middle button) and the eject button(left) all located on his hip area.
Unlike the original Blaster, he comes with the Autobot tracker "Steel Jaw". Same as the rest, chrome gold wings and a kick@ss transform mode of a robotic lion.
Peculiarities: G1 TF usually comes with a label sheet, this one, well, all labels have been applied.
Personal input: Very happy and satisfied, now I can get both arch rivals to fight ala TF the movie and the Studio Ox art.
: wished Takara'd release a Blaster cassettibot pack.
