Hello everyone, I've been reading, looking and admiring the stuff on these forums since last year but only decided to take an "active" participation a few minutes ago. I've been collecting a few Gundams here and there for quite some time and would like to share to you my collection of the little bits and pieces of plastic that Bandai has made to fire up our imaginations and satisfy our mecha cravings (and slowly bleed our finances dry in the process!). My first kits. Hence, "ye olde feel." The Aile Strike. I really love the way they designed this Gundam. The Strike Freedom. Heck, I love the way they designed this Gundam as well. Bought the 1/60 because I was intrigued with the light gimmick. I used the halogen light in my bedroom to get this shot. Was playing with my camera the other day and got this effect. Strike Freedom with Hi-Nu colors! I am a fan of the main Gundams in Seed and Seed Destiny. I wish they make an MG Justice or Infinite Justice soon. Got me some of them action bases from my supplier to shoot the next few pictures. I swear, these things are the next best thing to sliced bread. Nu vs. Sazabi. In my opinion two of the most beautiful pieces of plastic to be made. Got the idea from watching this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lW2Z9lxOgWo&mode=related&search=The Family Picture Gotta get me more family members. Thanks for looking.

Very nice! Are they painted? And how does the action base fit to the MG Aile Strike?

@vince: there are a lot of connectors included in the action base... so you can use it from an RX-78 to an S gundam to an acguy... it just a matter of finding the right connector that fits the kit's crotch area...

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Chainer, you know what they say, the more the merrier. Hopefully, I'll be getting new "family members" soon. Haha.
V2 Assault, thanks. Are you talking about those brown shelves? I'm based in the US right now and I bought them in IKEA.
zephyranthes, yup, those are action bases. They're pretty great and sturdy. Was surprised they could hold up the Sazabi.
kamadoma, the kits aren't painted. Just panel-lined to death. Haha. Also, I used the smallest U-clamp that came with the action base. That's what I used on the Freedom as well. It's a good fit but I wish those bases came with the same adapter they had with the SF.
Thanks for looking.

Again, thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
As for the new members, the Hi-Nu arrived the other day. Hopefully I can set aside a good amount of time for this.
Chainer, how long did it take you to complete your Hi-Nu? Read your review and was impressed with the flexibility of the kit.
quattro bajeena, archaznable, xentar, rapido, and no3ljm, thanks for the welcome.
The Strike Noir is very tempting right now. Maybe I have to get another action base to incorporate this MS into the trio shot and make it a GS/GSD/Stargazer piece.
Does anyone know where to get Bandai spare parts? I know it's a Japan-only thing but I think Rainbowten used to do it. The V-fins of the Freedom got broken a lont time ago and I would really like to get replacements.
Also, I'm thinking of doing a mod on the GS/GSD MS by installing those lights that come with the HY2M-MG heads. I would like to get extra spare head parts for the Strike, Freedom, and SF just in case things go wrong. Haha.
Thanks, guys.
