Project: Fusion 01.10.09 updates...able to push through the project because... ...the kit arrived at long last! thanks, sir M1gs! labelled the plastic bags to know what goes where... cleaned the parts before doing the dirty deed, just like clockwork... test fitted the pilot, c0ckpit and ZERO control... as always doing the tagabukid way, nato black for the inner frame, wC bagan w the c0ckpit... laid out the pieces... but the ZERO control should be placed after mr. yuy takes a seat... so he was colored w the same approach as before... i picked the color khaki not just for the mobile staff but also for the c0ckpit cushion and the safety harness worn on heero... different shades of brown for the hair, seatbelt, shoes, shoelaces and c0ckpit seat frame... finalized details on mr yuy... linings applied and chrome silver for the safety buckles... finalized the c0ckpit... side controls applied w gold leaf + dark brown mix, accented with 0.05 black ink... snuggly little bas+ard... fits like a glove...

Project: Fusion 01.11.09 updates...burned most of saturday cleaning the house, so project updates carried over the next day... looks a bit bland... a colorful c0ckpit in a monotone frame? therefore, i decided to accentuate the frame w chrome silver to bring out some metallic feel... image rotates from your right to your leftnow it no longer looks bland, at least to me... tip: to avoid paint scratches on painted (obviously) joints, apply tamiya clear paint... not only it will save the paint, it will also provide smooth movement thanks to the paint's gloss finish... and i almost forgot... this is how the custom ZERO controls looked like... photoshopped: radial blur effectthat's all for the weekend work... mostly spent on detailing the c0ckpit and torso frame... and did i mention that the monitor of the ZERO control broke as i accidentally nudged it as i build the torso? so i have to redo the monitor at the wee hours of sunday morning... since the work consisted of small pieces and no thanks to my sleepy state, i made about ten monitors as they flied around the room during sanding! finding an eenie-winnie tiny thing in a place where i have no idea it landed was next to impossible... at long last after the final failed endeavor i decided to sleep... then woke up at 4 in the afternoon LOL ;D still have to apply a clear coat of flat paint to finalize the torso frame... am targetting either the arm frame or the leg frame next... anyway, will just post whatever won my decision but for now, these are the little updates for my project... thanks for looking!

Oh so you've used an MG WZC for this project! I thought you'd be using the H-Arms Custom hehe. In any case, very nice work you've done there. As expected, you've again amazed and impressed us here with the quality of detail you've done with you're project. Two thumbs up! I see you've got some little trouble with the monitor. Gotta be careful with your work there hehe. Ah, the hours and hours you'd have to sacrifice to build a beloved gundam kit. I can feel you there man (sounded like a black dude there hehe), I've built my Wing Ver. Ka for over a week and in the late eve to the wee hours of the morning as well coz I got work in the morning. But it's worth it, and I know it's the same with you. Looking forward to more updates on your project... and have a good sleep, you'd need it! ;D

Great paint job on Heero... I guess you've used a magnifying lens when you paint it... thanks sir raps! actually, used nothing bossing to assist my vision except my naked eyes hehe... am wearing eyeglasses but i remove it whenever am in "Miniature Worker" mode because, weird as it may sound, i can see more miniscule details without it (guess am macro-near sighted lol) ;D
