nice! i admire your dedication to this kit. got a question amigo, do you plan to give this same dedication when your gonna build other kits besides Wing Zero? happy building! ;D well... that depends... on my mood hehe ;D seriously, i always try to outdo myself... so i hope i can keep this pace and move on to much higher level in terms of detailing... but i think i have to pause for a while after this project to recharge and keep my self from burning out... thanks for dropping by, bossing!

Good day, guys! wasn't able to post updates yesterday as i wasn't able to go to the office (slight stomach problem hehe)... on the positive note, i got most of the time yesterday finalizing the details of my kit featured below... on to the project: this is what am talking about... apply tamiya clear (x-22) to the joints so to save the paint from scratching... don't worry about the glossiness as it will be eliminated after a layer of flat coat is applied (aiming to do this over the weekend)... may seem like not much progress compared to the ZERO c0ckpit but hey, detailing this internal leg frame burned me hours, too! ;D paint used were nato black, gun metal, chrome silver (not that much visible in this shot) and copper... tip: detailing is much easier if you paint parts while still attached to their sprues... don't worry about the excess paint... it will be addressed later after connecting the parts... the insides of the knee part seemed boring after all the bloody detailing outside... so i took these parts from my trumpeter kit... ...and placed them in the knee internals for an added depth in detailing... (can you see where the chrome silver paint was applied? ) don't underestimate paint detailing... it's all a day's work... progress of the project so far...

can't do some spraying works in our boarding house, so off i went to the province last weekend to apply a coat of flat to the torso and detail some internal frames, too... (camera wasn't brought, sorry)... here're the flattened parts taken back to the city... the magic of flat paint... much, much better than before... the tedious ZERO c0ckpit sans the plastic look and feel... detailed leg frames... feet and ankle with a veerry tiny copper touch... shoulder blades and upper arm frames... so far so good...

time to update the torso... seamlines hidden, at last, after what seemed like eternity of priming with mr surfacer 500... red part on your right was intentionally discarded as part of the concept, therefore exposing some of the internal details... with tamiya flat blue... and panel shading... silver chrome at the back, clear green at the front... sure beats foil stickers any time... and yes, despite the detailed c0ckpit, the chest can be shut... hope you enjoyed my progress report for now... well, expect dragging updates as we're getting a bit busy at the office...
