Does anybody here know interesting toy and hobby shops in Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong? Would you happen to know if they sell action figures, specifically vintage G.I.Joe? Thanks in advance!

in Singapore...
u can go to China Square Central...its near China Town...the best time to go is Sunday coz they always have a flea market of toys....but beware of the price specially TF's and GI Joe's.....they tend to jack up the prices since they say theyre stuff are rare....what a big load of crap!!!

Uhm this is a bump but... In Hong Kong: UML is a good store for buying toys: www.universal-models.com/ And sometimes they have sales on things people don't buy. (I got a 30% off discount for buying more than 5 pinky street dolls.) The addresses of their branches are in the link. ^^ Aaaannd..Sogo (a department store) sells a lot of toys and Japanese games. (I saw some Figumate, Gundam) I think they're hard to miss (just look for a signs when going to the subway.) I've also seen some stores (I didn't get their addresses though. ^^; that sell random japanese and some action figures and are scattered (so there might be a chance that you can see what you want there.) I have to say that HK's prices are so cheap. O-O I found a Nendoroid for only HK $ 79.

hmm to be a little bit specific for hong kong toy shops.. 1. Wan Chai Station exit A3.. cross Johnson Rd (theres a KFC nearby) and head to Tai Yuen St there are more or less 5 toy shops there... (medium priced toys) 2. Yau Ma Tei Station Exit A2... head north accross Dundas St and look for Sino Center lotsa anime toy shops and video game shops at the basement, books, manga and dvds on the 2nd floor 3. Yau Ma Tei Station Exit A2 again.. head north to Dundas St. and turn right.. look for toy shop signs to your left.. head to Sai yeung choi st South (theres a convenience store nearby and starbucks.. look for CMT Center.. i think the toy shops there are on the 3rd floor (look for signs there are a lot there) 3-4 toy shops there.. they have the cheapest prices (i think) 4. Causeway Bay.. SOGO toy section hope that helps
