Hi guys
Big thanks to EDMAESTRO for helping me getting the Super Real Action Magazine Monthly Zoids Graphics Extra Gungyalado EX.1 (longest name ever ;D).
Originally released in 1990 under OJR line, DPZ-23 Gungyalado. After 18 long years, TAKARA TOMY finally released Gungyalado under Zoids Graphic line. This time it is Made in Thailand.
Box
Bits
Motor
Sticker Sheet
Sprues - Sprue D contains the Chrome parts
Grade-up Unit GU-02 (Remoulded in Grey)
Magazine
Built Model - EX1 Gungyalado
Good
- It's Gungyalado! we'd been waiting for it's reissue for ages.
- Two walking mode (same as bear fighter): By 2s & 4s
- Grade-up Unit. Unlike Gildragon, Gungyalado already equipped w/ GU-02 so Zoiders need not to spend money just for upgrading.
Bad
- Chrome parts. The problem w/ TT Chrome parts is the location where u cut it out from the sprues leaves an ugly mark. Exposed plastic parts ruined the beauty of chrome.
- Wings. That's it a wing slap to Gungy. Not ur typical flying Zoids that when u wound up or run the motor, flaps automatically (Salamander, Storm Sworder, Raynos, etc).
- Price & availability. Same as the OJR DPZ-23 Gungyalado Tomy (again) produced a short run thus many Zoiders (thanks to scalper) have difficulty acquiring this piece.
Over-all, Gungyalado is a unique kit. Here's hoping that TAKARA TOMY will have 2nd production run for those who missed getting it the 1st time.
Oh, btw, I made a mistake of placing the grey GU bar. Good thing SuperSSonic at Zoids Poison asked question that it supposed to be red grade up bar (D51), luckily I haven't throw the sprues;D
Thanks for looking.
Cheers to everyone
