man, somehow i think people who brought the first one are gonna drop those for this. just a question though - is the stand adjustable? it seems too low and in an awkward position to "hold" bats... ;D ;D ;D Gold

The Review is up for the set: tformers.com/reviews.php?op=showcontent&id=1077One slight correction with regards to what the reviewer posted, there are some extras that are exclusive to the set only (missing in the individual season release), like the voice cast reunion and the 60 page booklet included in the complete set. Let's combine--again! It's been a decade since the 1999 Soul of Chogokin GX-03 Combattler V was first offered, and now Bandai draws from their accumulated SOC production know-how to completely redesign the toy with better proportions, detailed mechanisms, and more use of clear parts and die-cast metal goodness!
The set packs all five machines--Battle Jet, Battle Crasher, Battle Tank, Battle Marine, and Battle Craft--along with a wide variety of weapons, optional hands, and a custom display base to show them all off. Aside from its new design, the combination and movable gimmicks have also been redeveloped. The five machines can, of course, combine to form a 24cm-tall Combattler V, and the width of the robot's leg joints have been improved to allow for more dynamic posing.
Combattler V can recreate its signature Choudenji Spin and Grandasher finishers, and effect parts are provided to replicate the super robot's Choudenji Yo-Yo attack. In addition, weapons such as the Big Blast and Battle Garegga that were not included with the 1999 release are now offered in this set!

New Shin Mazinger Manga. A different take on the series and features the Fewture Mazinger Z figure. Thanks to Calibre over at Robotjapan for the link. To start leeching.. err ...reading... manga.animea.net/shin-mazinger-zero-chapter-Prologue.htmlFortunately it's also Fan-translated into English so the Manga is readable. It contains the prologue (20 pages) followed by chapters 1 and 2 (33 pages each). Be Warned!! EXPLICIT CONTENT! Due to the violence and graphic nudity in the manga, this one is for mature readers only. The manga is very, very dark. Gold

I was thinking the same thing.. I don't think it'll be as posey as the Gx-45. BTW the blue Maz in the photo Mon5t3r posted is the Model kit, but the Gx-49 looks to transform the same way. Hongkong item (not sure if this is for the Gx-45 or the upcoming 49) Thanks to 45 Caliber over at PTK forums for the image. Gold

Pics of the standard version. srblood.blog89.fc2.com/blog-entry-599.htmlnot bad but I wish they had at least given the toy a matte finish to make look less plasticky. Funny how the Mekanda Max jet doesn't exactly plug all the way in (front c0ckpit removal required.) Gold
