How I regret not having discovered this thread of yours earlier! Your SW and Batman collection is outright mind-blowing as well as mind-boggling! Viewing the pictures was an Odyssey! Loved the custom "sail barge". Garvy, your dedication to the hobby is awesomely inspiring! Keep on dude, you are a beacon to all collectors. Hey there!!! Its good to see you back!!!! I can't recall you posting in recent months! Thanks a lot for the compliments! Needless to say though, the dedication though inspiring, is also quite cash draining! hahahaha!!!! the price we pay, right? I've actually slowed down somewhat in the past year due to other priorities. cheers, Garvy Thank you very much for the warm welcome I've been just monitoring recently. I've had a year of hiatus from the hobby, but as they say, first love never dies! Priorities indeed push our beloved hobby to the back burner. Thanks to Spanky, i've been pulled right back in. I recently took home his Aoshima Getter 1 (pot bellied honcho in "Armaggedon". However, toy purchases will still and surely be far and in between. Right now, I am just waiting for the Daimos SOC to fully come to life and get unleashed! Great to "see" you Garvy

I was able to catch 3 episodes and i do find the story slow. Unfortunately, I couldnt keep a consistent following to it. The colors are nice though.

Reminds me of Zambot and Tryder G.

Got a view of the figures due to be released. Goshogun and Bryger look really nice. These are priced quite higher than Revoltechs, it seems? Anyway, it is a joy to see characters/robots are being represented, even through other toy brands and lines in "formats" we'd want them. When these toy companies compete, we collectors reap the benefits.

This updated version has a lighter and more metallic shade of blue over GX-01R. If it isn't the shadows that fall on the chrome, it suggests some weathering on this version as well.

I for one find this appealing. Classic screams all throughout its design. For all we know, Go Nagai may have taken his cue on his first getter designs from this granddaddy of a mech.

The toys do look very nice though inherent flimsiness can become a pain. They look poised for "models" not toys.

I am pretty excited about this mech. Tho I am not all the way into Sentai, I find the design of BFJ too funky to pass. If Economics permit by the time it is available, Id be glad to have it. Would be nice to put it next to my Varidorin and Gaoking.

Wow, Battle Fever J is a very nice robot. Should be something we shouldnt miss. I wonder how it will stand next to its vintage brother.
