Hehe here's a scale comparison of the Bots. This is based on the actual statisitcs of Super Robots(the height of Voltes is 59 Meters, Mazinger Z is 16-18Meters). Please click on thumbnail to view larger image Gold Gold (or anyone who might know the answer), I know this is off-topic but I'm confused. If this pic shows the actual heigh comparison of these bots then why do we see Grendizer and Maz in almost the same height in the anime? Or Maz and Getter Robo? Or Getter Robo from Getter G? I know the height is different, but not that much. Please enlighten me as I've been bugged by this for a looong time now. Before I was convinced that this size comparison artwork was wrong. Thank you. Peace Hi Peace, I guess we can only speculate, meaning there may never be official answers to that "universal" question, in our circle that is. My hypothesis for it could be that when we were young, creators of Super Robots never really had "scales" and "statistics" in mind in terms of comparing it with other super robots, even the ones they churn out in their own universe. I think they never really bothered because kids (those days) wouldn't have bothered much about it, too. They did put out stats, specifications and all but only for each robot and never really had the foresight to make them consistent (like in the case of Go Nagai's SRs that appear all almost at the same height, whether in regular episodes or movies). They just didn't see it the way we see it now as adults who now care about these details.

It doesnt really snap, if you push too hard you risk paint chipping. we just have to live with it Too bad I saw this tread too late my Voltez V now has a paint chipping in the crewzer Mechapunk is there a tab on your crewzer that would lock the 2 white parts together? Because when I inspected my Voltez V I though I have a defective piece, because upon closer inspection there seems to be a tab in there. But it was broken off I think It should lock the white parts above the crewzer. Last time i checked mine, it would seem there is a tab that should somehow 'lock' it from swiveling. However, there really isn't. I can bet on that the design meant for it to lock it in place with sheer friction. However, it doesn't work. It may be a bit of a bugger but i just had to accept it. Konting ingat lang for those who dont want any paint chipping.

Does anyone have problems with the infamous Crewzer defect? About Voltes V head not snapping together whilst it transforms to Crewzer mode? Is this really a defect? I already saw two crewzers but I thought this was normal, should the white parts in the crewzer "nape" lock together when in vehicle mode? At first I tried little pressure in trying to lock/snap it together but gave up, might break the other parts.. It doesnt really snap, if you push too hard you risk paint chipping. we just have to live with it

bandai might have been pressured to release this so much so QC is not as stringent as with the previous SOC releases. oh well... we all just need to be careful handling it. but i must agree it is truly a beautiful rendition of our favorite SR. :0

Bandai is coming off a bit with its QC I observed something (right after taking out of the box) after setting it up, the top edge of the right thigh and just below the ball join (joining with the hip) has a chip, a metal chip! but other than that, the toy never fail to amaze me.

I watched the Pilot episode of Voltes V Evolution and I was awed to hear that the Volt Machiners are programed to the voices of it's individual Pilots. Is this also true in the original dubbing or did they just added this info? Ey Gian! Where were you able to get hold of that series? I am hoping to get one.
