yes, they're basically the old GoBots molds back in a new cartoon. Tip: When you go to the malls they cost P1,500 a set of 5 (complete combiner). But if you go to Toontown over in Glorietta, they sell them for half the price (P750 approx) -- pero US yun packaging yata. I'm not sure how much die-cast content those versions have. Of interest is the HQ -- it's like a transforming train. The malls sell them for P4k, the one in Toontown goes for P2k lang! They also have "singles" of the core units -- walang kasamang supporting cast na 4 other bots. Side note: I bought this "Burning" and "Blizzard" machine robo set. It cost me P700 each set. It has 1 core robot and 8 support bots. (hope this link works: www.hlj.com/product/BAN905108 and www.hlj.com/product/BAN920170) I bought them in Galleria but the condition of the box is....terrible but the figs are still darn good and solid! |

in other words,the 80`s cartoon,challenge of the gobots,aired on channel 9 many years back! w/c is the reason why that new anime is on CN asia.

Where is this "Toontown"? Or are you referring to "Toytown"? ;D Yeah, I think Toytown nga yata sya. I think it's at G2. Kindda tempting to go back nga for that HQ thing that changes to a robot (P2k nga lang). It's like 50% cheaper that what you'll find in Toy Kingdom or SM dept store. |

just saw the trailer today. well part of it anyway. it looked cool. kinda has the same animation that SDGF or zoids has. there's this robot there that had a drill for a head that seemed very familiar. i think i might have had a toy like that way before.
