MACHINE ROBO RESCUE!!!!

Sad to say.....NO, I wasn't able to watch it!!!

Prior to going home yesterday... I was continuously uttering the words " I AM THE MAN OF MY HOUSE!!!!" over and over and that " I CAN WATCH ANYTHING I WANT EVEN......c-a-r-to-o-n-s!!hehehe.... " All your suggestions were running inside my mind the whole day yesterday.

Here's a lil story of what transpired last night:

At around 6 pm, I arrived at home... and I really got relieved, since......
My wife was doing the laundry (it's not possible for her to finish just before MMR starts at around 7:30pm).
My elder daughter's already inside her room, watching her koreanobelas (as usual),
The younger daughter's doing her assignment (possible length of time accomplishing it : 1 - 1 1/2 hours) .
My son's not yet around and my wife informed me that he and his girlfriend will be watching a movie and will be home a lil late...
AND the best of them all, the in-laws got no plan of visiting us.... wwweeeeeee...... am really getting excited by then. Got me 3 options.. the master bedroom, my son's room and at the living room.. Yeheyyyy... I said to myself. ;D ;D ;D

So, I cooked dinner in a haze, took a quick and refreshing shower, and had dinner with the rest of the family.... at around 7:20pm am already set inside my room getting comfortable since my mind's already focused in one thing..." MMR ", I actually had the tv set turned on and already in CN.

Am really having a chance of watching it without any hassles and arguments...luck is on my side.

UNTIL......

Faith did it, jaz a lil around 7:30pm....... the wifey called out for me (as if she's got an ESP & knew what am planning) and asked me if I can help her hang all the washed clothes to dry them. Man that's so much!!!!!This can't be happening!!!! Can't I even glance at the intro of the MMR.... Got to do something, got to think of an alibi at once, got to.......!!!!!!

IN THE END.......
Being the ever so faithful, loving, caring and "MASUNURIN" husband that I am...... I ended up hanging all the washed clothes rather than watching my most anticipated MMR in CN.

So guys, is this really what's called " THE MAN OF MY HOUSE"..... Is it synonymous with " MAN I SHOULD DO ALL THE CHOIRES IN MY HOUSE ??"

It's almost 7:30pm again... Maybe tonight I can watch it......Wish me luck this time,hehehe.......... ;D ;D ;D

NOPE! last week nag restock sila! robinsons manila has all sets, all bases Kboy and even the individual packed leaders...
But sadly no blizzard recolors...

I have to say that the dubbing of this show is simply horrible! More like the Digimon dubbings!

Saw yesterdays ep of MRR. Here are my thoughts....

1. Storyline was bad. I really wasn't fond of the idea of the kids running the show kind of thing.

2. Good animation sequence for the mechs thought. Nice transformation sequence and good mecha designs.

I hope the series picks up later on. It would be a waste of good mecha if it doesn't.

I agree. I don't quite like the series. It was a disappointment for me.

You`re right,daycot! it`s worse than the original hanna-barbera cartoon (challenge of the gobots) in w/c among the voice actors of the show are frank welker,the voice of scooter.

It ain't all that bad............kids running the show though somewhat unbelievable..............ala Gaogaigar no? Only thing that sucks are the character designs ( no Utsugi mikimoto.........yuck)

Same company.Sunrise, though different manufacturer (Bandai instead of Takara). I wonder how the marketing licensure agreements will affect it in the US? Remember Tonka, which introduced Gobots aka Machine Robo was a rival to Hasbro's Transformers, but Hasbro bought out Tonka/Kenner right?

hayyy... i just came from toy kingdom here in makati.. all their MRR toys (japanese ver) now have the same price as with the HongKong version.. they should have lowered them when they got the HK version in the first place.. para at least yung may box nabili ko instead of the blister pack.. oh well

Good,after MRR (machine robo rescue),CN asia will come up with their plan:replace this anime with either Transformers energon or challenge of the go-bots.
