I know that almost all of us here were watching anime. But by watching anime did you learn a little bit of Japanese language while watching (with an english sub of course)? Then if you do could you share us what word that you have learned from watching.
I start sayonara - goodbye, arigato - thankyou, kunicha (is the spelling right in japanese?) - brother. ;D

well i don't know if the spelling is right anyway here are some little japanese words dat i know note correct me na lang sa spellings.......... domo(thank u), onichan (brother), kume or gumenasai(sorry), kunichiwa(hello), simasen(excuse me), nan(what?)i, oishi(delicious), ainutseru( i love u), orewa (I).

nope not really. but it did entice me to take up jap lessons. and i was surprised to find out that most of my classmates were anime fans as well. jap10 nga lng nakuha ko so basic lng and i already forgot how to read and write nihongo. pero mataas grades ko dun. hehehe.

(from what time till what time?) wakaranai janai (impolite manner of saying i dont understand) kawaii (cute) kirei (neat or pretty) utsukushii (beautiful) name tanjinezo (not sure of spelling... means "don't underestimate me" or "don't look down on me") so des ne? (is that so?) so des. (yes it is so) whew! busted my brain there. marami p pero i have to review pa just to remember. *typo: couldn't seem to edit it, its supposed to be ha-ji-me-ma-shi-te

i learned all my japanese from anime and hentai.. maganda tlaga ung mga subtittled ang pina[anood.. matututo ka tlaga...
Ogenki deska? how are you? nan deska? what is it? nani??! WHAT??! hai. yes ie. no Orewa Supah ecchi!!~ Im a super pervert! Bokura Hentai.. just to add matane ( c u later), obaki(ghost), itada kemas( let's eat), kampai( cheers), omenoto (congrats.), shine (die), ruruoni ( wanderer), hoy!(hey), moshi moshi (hello), yamete kudasai( help please.) actually its matte ne... which can also be used as "wait for me.." yamete is stop.. so yamete kudasai is stop please.. help please is taskete kudasai... itada kimas is not "lets it.." its an expression meaning "ill take this one" its used before eating to envoke evryone to eat heartily.. it can also be used before kissing someone...

yamete is stop.. so yamete kudasai is stop please.. help please is taskete kudasai... yamete kudasai... yamete... yameteeeeeeee...... hay, brings back hentai memories don't it jax?

Yup, I learned a bit of Japanese from watching anime. But my brother is the expert, sometimes he doesn't need to read the subs and he still understands the story. ;D
