can anyone remember the name of this super robo series that rpn released along with balatak&danguard ace? got no pix but i remember thy're 4 superrobots with their pilots' core fighters or ships docking on each of the bots' heads just like mazinger z?  o yeah gma7 should release the great mazinga series!  |

Blocker gundan IV machine blaster.in regards to raijin-oh ( present day anime),these 3 Giant mechas(ken-oh,hou-oh and ju-oh) are piloted by three raijin-oh pilots from their individual cockpits and king dragon (bakuryuuoh) can operate remotely by some of our heroic kiddies aside from those three raijin-oh pilots in their classroom-turned-command center.

hmm don't recall 3 pilots in their classroom turned comand center. sayang wala na mga sticker collections ko from highschool! iremember one of the head bots has a human face like daimos or danguard ace and the other 3 have mouth coverd faces or ponty heads like getter2/3. simple lang mga colors nila.

slightly off topic pero sna ipalabas ng gma yung mga anime na ginawang mini series for example yung gokusen and gto. :-) gokusen pwede pa pero GTO hmmm i doubt .... pero sana palabas nila yung live action ng GTO parang chinovela din naman yun eh hehehe .... ;D |

slightly off topic pero sna ipalabas ng gma yung mga anime na ginawang mini series for example yung gokusen and gto. :-) gokusen pwede pa pero GTO hmmm i doubt .... pero sana palabas nila yung live action ng GTO parang chinovela din naman yun eh hehehe .... ;D i hope ipalabas din yung gto anyway meron pala me cd ng mini series ng gokusen. ;D |

Chuckles: Yeap .... I can still feel my childhood fury for Macoy during those days  .... Imagine, during my youth, I can still remember one Friday afternoon at around 4:30 pm....I rushed in front of the tv set getting ready for my fave SR series BUT Instead of Voltes V, Candy candy suddenly appeared on screen  . Man, I really felt so depressed and deprived together with the rest of the youth of the Martial law era. Lucky for me, I got my vengeance on him (MACOY) during the EDSA revolution..... IBAGSAK... IBAGSAK.... ANG REHIMENG MAPANUPIL NG KALAYAAN!!!!!! Hahahaha....... ;D Oh My those were the days.... Inaalala lang po ang kabataan ko...... ;D |

But martial law was already dead (or sometimes lifted by marcos) in 1981 and marcos died in 1989 three years after he exiled from our country in 1986.we won`t be able to see this anime as well as the other two again in 1995 since raijin-oh,astroboy and patlabor are on our side when i was a pre-teen at that year.

No.... Marcos only lifted Martial Law in words and fantasy but never in reality. Only the curfew was lifted BUT all the ins and outs of the martial law stocked on the heads of all the military and police personnel up to the first day EDSA 1 materialized. Martial Law only died after Macoy was thrown away of the Philippine shores..  A lil trivia... Marcos and his tv censorship group removed all the super robots and anime with the same attitude during the heat of all the campaigns against him. According to them, these cartoons were so violent that it will lift up and awaken the minds of the youth...  THE TRUE SCORE: They're paranoid enough to think that the aggresiveness of the SR series will continuously FUEL the violent minds of the youth and eventually BURN them to join the increasing number of rallyist/activist against his government... |
