Mukodono: Actually Voltes V, Daimos and the rest were shown much , much ahead of these group of robots. These four robots fight in coordination with each other. Actually, each of their heads were spaceships that join their body to activate them. I can't recall if it was able to telecast atleast 10 episodes before it was cut off the air.  MZ: Yeah, yan nga ata Title nila dito sa Pinas... couldn't remember if it's Striker Four, Striker Force or StrikeForce.....I've been trying to recall it but to no avail. ;D |

that was a long time ago,wingseyemd Can't quite get you there MJAT, if you mean..... *My disappointment regarding the sudden removal of all the SR series by Macoy and my hatred for him during the martial law era........ Well, just always remember... am still a kid during those times..... and every lil disappointment or trauma that accumulates in a kid's cerebellum (main brain) will leave a scar that will mark to his/her subconscious up to the very day he/she looses the ability to remember a memory. Kid's trauma will always stock with him throughout life, that's the reason why we should always avoid giving the young ones something to be disappointment at or with....... as much as possible  OR * My trying to remember the title of the Machine Blaster series here in the Philippines..... Yeah, I agree with you, it's really a very very long time, really hard to recall it... CHEERS ;D |

But martial law was already dead (or sometimes lifted by marcos) in 1981 and marcos died in 1989 three years after he exiled from our country in 1986.we won`t be able to see this anime as well as the other two again in 1995 since raijin-oh,astroboy and patlabor are on our side when i was a pre-teen at that year. No.... Marcos only lifted Martial Law in words and fantasy but never in reality. Only the curfew was lifted BUT all the ins and outs of the martial law stocked on the heads of all the military and police personnel up to the first day EDSA 1 materialized.  Martial Law only died after Macoy was thrown away of the Philippine shores..  A lil trivia... Marcos and his tv censorship group removed all the super robots and anime with the same attitude during the heat of all the campaigns against him. According to them, these cartoons were so violent that it will lift up and awaken the minds of the youth...  THE TRUE SCORE: They're paranoid enough to think that the aggresiveness of the SR series will continuously FUEL the violent minds of the youth and eventually BURN them to join the increasing number of rallyist/activist against his government... hehehe kaya pala ic baka pag pinalabas pa at nag continue yung mga Super Robot series nung time na yun magulat na lang si Marcos na nag Vovoltes Bazooka na yung mga kabataan noon sa Palasyo hehehe .... o kaya mag lalaser Sword na yung mga activist they will be portraying Super Robots series against them hehehe --- Peace. |

si voltes v and daimos na yung naabutan ko kya hndi pamilyar sa aken ang Blocker Army IV MACHINE BLASTER seeing the photos i can say na cool! and astig sila. :-) if memory serves me right! naging title yata nyan dito ay "Striker Four" meron din dyan maliit na robot na kamukha ni Astroboy. YEH I REMEMBER THAT NAME STRIKER FOUR. NO WONDER HINDI FAMILIAR YUN ORIGINAL ANIME TITLE.  |

heheh those chilhood days are reeling in again....[glow=red,2,300]DANGUARD ACE![/glow] i remember when it was shown on ch9 thurs they were in space and it had a cool anime sr fight scenes.but by the next thurs they now on earth and it was like an intro..and it was a verrry looong drama intro coupled with his insecurities to the mentor w/ face mask and his piloting of the ship /helmet to the docking of dangard's head. i think it was 10+eps until we saw danguard again. during that time it made me loose interest. but now after watching gundam and its spinoffs i'm hoping that they'll show danguard ace again. |

para sa akin unique ng kaunti yung story ng Danguard Ace kasi most of the Super Robot shows sa 1st episode palang lumalabas na sila kaagad! ;D kay Danguard may kaunting pabitin pa... heheheh I remember before it was banned by mccoy.. danguard ace has been replaced by Gaiking and then kinabukasan wala ng mga Super Robots!

tanong ko lang sa inyo mga guys kung the same lang ba yung live action ng Gokusen sa anime version? hmmm nakita ko kanina yung trailer ng Gokusen sa GMA 7 eh. Mga what day and what time kaya ito ipapalabas? just curious hehehe ....

You`re right mazingaa zetto! Raijin-oh and patlabor are on Channel 9 back in 1995 to replace all of the super robot shows on that channel that was banned by marcos in the late `70s.

If you're able to watch the series of Voltes V and Daimos (topranking SRs during that time) surely you'll remember their separate episodes wherein the Boazanian and the Brahmen slaves rebelled against their respective governments. These episodes were the turning point..... it was during their airing that the SRs limelight suddenly suffered an end. Marcos and his allies got paranoid that the youth's minds will be enlightened and suddenly join the rebelry against them if and when the youth realized that what's going on around them's a form of government oppression.....  Chuckles & MZ: Yeah, Sa sobrang haba ng drama at training ni Takuma (DA's pilot), this SR series was stopped just when the robot's about to get the center stage..... that's the main reason why UFO Grendizer got the better of him, sabay sila ng timeslot... mas pinapanuod ang Grendy, cause there's already a lot of action going on with him, while you can't even see Dangard Ace yet as a robot..... |
