Finally a Satoshi Urushibara "official "anime hentai since Plastic Little.
Among the old school super star artists, Satoshi U, Masami Obari and Kenichi Sonada greatly influence my taste in the "sexy" anime genre. (Especially Bubblegum Crisis 2032)
Obari, who also did Fatal Fury now is relegated to Angel Blade and Viper GT. The last non hentai work of his if I recall correctly was Battle Arena Toshinden.
Yousumi Uemesu also did great hentai and non hentai works (he directed the OP for Z Gundam, character designs for the 1990's Gatchaman, then there was Akite, Yellow Star and Mezzo Forte)
Now it is Satoshi's turn. There are two clones of his......Koh Kawarajima( two persons infact) and the designer of Spy of Darkness.
Satoshi did Lemnear, Plastic Little, a Yujin hentai episode,Langrisser designs for the Saturn and Genesis(sort of a dating/strategy RPG), Street Fighter posters of Chun li and Guile (very beautiful if you ask me
....of Chyun li), Lodoss War (first volume with Parn and Deedlith being the lead cast not like the sort of disappointing second series)designs, Bubble gum Crisis "Double Vision" 2032,and Transformers and GI Joe (he also does great mech designs)
Now back to Another Lady Innocent
Published by Kitty for US release, the company went all out for this one.
Contains some scenes from the manga(?) or is it poster book? digital comic of Lady Innocent plus some recordings from the voice actresses introducing Front Innocent. (I own several art books of Satoshi , as you, as for those who are familiar with his works, initially he drew women without any censorship mosaic (included only pubic hair) but his latest creations.........well you get my drift....very graphically accurate.
The dvd also contains an interview of the pervert himself (and I do use it affectionally on him), here he answers several questions on his work still etal. (he really allowed himself to be photographed)
There is alsoa backgrounder on the American Civil War (backdrop of Front Innocent)
Storywise: Really unbelievable, in such a prudish time, them American Southerners in their half dressed gentile french maid uniforms were quite erhemm...........liberal.
But, then, I doubt it if that is the story we are after hehehe ;D.
Artwise......topnotch......this is Satoshi we are talking about. He wrote, directed and designed the the entire shebang!
Voice actors.....unlike Bible Black Revival.......we have japanese voice overs (though the American cast we....adequate)
Complaints? Too short! Unlike Mezzo Forte and Akite, where you get two episodes each, here.......only one(the better to milk the franchise
?........lasted only 40 minutes.
Being a Satoshi fan, I got it for its being a high quality endeavor into erotica.................just that,too short.
