hey glad of you be back here again bro ...  here are my list so far 1. Honey and Clover I & II - (defenitely the best romance, comedy anime for me) 2. Paradise Kiss - (defenitely a good comedy, romance, drama series but sadly its only a 12 eps. bitin) 3. Kasimasi ~ Girl Meets Girl (also a good series with lots of romance, comedy and a slice of life) well so far that's my list ill update my list soon hehehe .... |

well, for me nothing can beat Rurouni Kenshin OVA... really touching.... second will be Saikano (she, the Ultimate Weapon). Im not really into sexy anime's like bleach etc... im more after the story... right now im downloading the Grave of the Fireflies.... i wonder if it's good....

agreed about honey and clover! I wish yamada would stop pining over mayama and just focus on nomiya!
not really into this stuff, so i avoid downloading such material but since you said tragic love stories. try reading some of mayu shinju's works.

my best recommendations:
kanon - although its somewhat mysterious, its very emotional.
airTV - at par with kanon, but very "depressive" because of the ending.
kimi ga nozumo eizen - ties with kanon and can be somewhat "realistic".
canvas 2
shuffle
kasimasi
da capo (1st and 2nd season) - fairly okay
utawarerumono - pretty good in the sense that theres a lot of drama, plots going on for a 26 episode series.

I agree with Shuffle! and Kanon, there's already a remake of Kanon ongoing in Japan, watched a couple of eps. and made me fall for Nayuki again.
Then here are others that are recommended:
Utawarerumono
Air TV (there's also a movie version but haven't watched it yet)
Kannaduki no Miko

ack. i also forgot to add along AirTV - its exceeds kanon because of its ending.
utawarerumono is also good - for a 26 episode series its got a lot of events going on... and doesnt feel "rushed"

To play ogm files, you only need the ff: ffdshow codec MatroskaSplitter They're available at www.free-codecs.comOnce installed, even windows media player can play ogm files, but I recommend zoom player. I'd advise against any codec packs, they work only when new and problem starts when one codec becomes outdated. |

for now i've watched the AIR TV episodes 1 and 2 plang... interesting story....

Bro thanx! windaria (once upon a time) is what i've been looking for.... i couldn't find it because i couldn't remember the title.... the last time i've watched this was when i was 9 years old.... if i remember it correctly the title written on the VHS tape was The prince and the princess or something.... so that got me lost.... hahaha.... this is the first anime that got me depressed for the first time at a very young age, though i couldn't understand most of it by that time.... again bro, thank you.... |
