since Bandai posted their recent releases on MG line up and they were planning on making a F91 MG in the near future... so far i heard that the recent release was the Nemo from Zeta... from what i know that Bandai concentrate their marketing strategy on Zeta
based on gunnota website, that the reason of making F91 into planning stages due to the new PS2 game titled "Climax U.C." the game boasts most of the famous UC saga mecha such as RX-78-2, Z Gundam, up to Crossbone Gundam

Well as the article states, its still in the planning stage. Bandai always have polls for their next lineup of MG and PG Gundam kits, sad to say only the Japanese market is considered since the bulk of Gunpla sales (around 80-90%) comes from the Japanese market. If the F91 would be the next to get a Master Grade treatment, I just hope that they make it as big as the other MG kits. Eventually, the scale would be around 1/72.

I think that the opposite might happen, that they will stick to 1/100, so that they can make the mechanics for all the smaller mecha, like the V2.
on an intersting note...bandai has recently spot-produced a new batch of G-Cannon Magma and V2 1/100 kits.

True, one can never guess what goes on inside the minds of those Bandai designers hehe.
Now that you mentioned it, the V2 1/100 kits would be a good series to reissue. I just hope they revive the HG line for the 1/100 scale.

its kinda strange that they refer to the V gundam and F91 gundam as "miniatures" when in fact its only a few meters shorter. or is there something that i don't know about?

Not really "miniatures", only smaller. Lets take the F90 as an example, at 1/100 the size of the actual kit is almost the same as that of a regular 1/144 kit.

due to the advanced technologies after the events of the char's CA movie, mobile suits have been "scaled down" to provide a lighter and compact design yet yield higher performance output.
at that point, the cost is developing ms by that "trend" is cheaper.
apparently they are rather small when put in kit form - the 1.100 V gundam kits are at just barely bigger than the 1/144 scale kits - even the 1/144 scale V gundam kits are smaller than MSiAs.
