Hi guys I just wanna share my finished MG RX-78-2 ver. 2.0 ;D

I airbrushed the exterior armors ala max watanabe pre-shade technique. As you can see the colors are lighter than usual since I want this more anime accurate (and since I've been inspired by the designer colors of the 00 mobile suits ;D). As I said the eyes is painted standard mr. color yellow to denote shadows by the visor of the helmet.

This is actually the first MG kit I've airbrushed prior to the HG 1/144 Virtue and GN-X kits ;D

I've also panel lined this by enamel wash and used bandai water decals specifically made for the RX-78-2 ver 2.0 ;D

I didn't place too much decals since I want this simple and the design of the RX-78-2 is minimalistic so I went along that way. The decal set actually has 2 variations of the EFSF logo and name: One in gray and one in yellow. I used gray because the yellow parts has this shaded markings in it that makes the decal standout more and it kinds of takes out the simplicity of the design.

Hehe I always laugh when the RX-78-2 Launches from White Base in the anime. They made his art funny ;D

Cover Box Art - I Can't seem to copy it perfectly

i tried editing out the stand, but the back waist panel looked unnatural, so i decided to have it as it is...

ill try another one, with it tied up on a string so it would look more real hehe
