Hey guys, What's happening there in the NCR?  I'm from Cebu and have no idea what the situation there right now. It seems to me this is like the US Watergate scandal with Nixon. I'd like to hear your thoughts though... SGP |

not much really. GMA admitted that she contacted a comelec official during the elections which was in violation of comelec rules during election time, and she was sorry about it.
and now activist wants her out. some groups are also planning an impeachment case against her. Susan Roces (wife of the late FPJ) voiced out her opinions and she could be the next "Cory Aquino". the catalyst that toples the "Regime". nothing new really, just the same old corruption, and cheating, and taking advantage, by our beloved decision makers ;D
so how's the weather down there?

to shin getter p: yap, i remember when i was in Cebu last week, it was cloudy but no rain, but last monday, rain was so heavy that some parts of Cebu was flooded!

just my thoughts on why GMA should resign. Kinda discussed this in class today and the thing is.... she admitted to her involvement in the scandal. The right thing to do is not to promise us that she would do her best to better herself as a leader but to step down and giveway to whomever it is that should be in the seat of power (not that i have anyone in mind).
i commend her for being honest and all but since she is, by defualt, not our president. And that is reason enough why she should not contue with her administration.
