I don't really build type 2 decks, but I play in Pre-release tourneys (missed Saviors of Kamigawa though since I don't have time and money. ^_^; )

i was a player way way before, back when 4 ed. was just released. me and my classmate was even the pioneer of magic the gathering ccg back in our college days (promo boys kung baga para me iba pang makalaro). though im now retired on my ccg days, im now a full time gundam collector. the last deck i had were tribal, my pure white soldier weeny pump/beat down deck and my pure red weeny blaster/beat down goblin deck. sure was fun playing not, but not for long.

btw sir malvin... why are you asking? magpapatournament ka? hehehe ;D

I play Magic, but thanks to the toy collecting bug I had to let it go. The last cards I have were from the Scourge expansion set of the Onslaught block.

Yup me too. Been in and out of MTG game but still have majority of my collection still in. I have a type 1 Angel animator deck.

Currently have 2 Type 2 decks.. BG control and RDW (will modify to Flores Red)... Also have 2 extended decks, Mono Black Control at U/G Madness...

Sali sana ako GPT sa 17 kaso di payagan ng schedule... but am definitely going to attend 9th ed pre-release...

Hopefully ako rin babalik ako sa pagsali sa Pre-release syang lang at pinalagpas ko yung Saviors of Kamigawa, 6 straight Pre-releases sana yun... ^_^;

Kaya lang hindi ko na nahabol kung anong mga bagong rules sa Tournament play, tsaka kung may mga bagong strategies ba since Betrayers of Kamigawa. ;D

lemme see... I started September 1997 nung Tempest. Then played up to Urza's Legacy/ Destiny... then stopped, then went back to playing during onslaught, pero hanggang legions lang ako.

speaking of blue.. my favorite blue deck was the Tradewind Rider deck.. very fun to play with.. very annoying to your opponent! hehehe

to chaoz: what you had in mind? first turn lotus - sacrifice, mox tap, mox tap, swamp tap, cast dark ritual then mid twist for 7?

Then your only left with one card, your opponent with none? ;D

hehe no mox.... opponent goes first... so lets say he just drop a land... 6 cards... my turn.. drop land, dark rit, dark rit, dark rit, mind twist.... 7 mana, 1 casting cost for mind twist, 6 for the cards... hehehe no more cards ;D though the probability for this is really slim, i did this once and only once... never got to redo that since then

to chaoz: yap after you cast MIND TWIST he goes.. discard a blue card, FORCE OF WILL ;D
