tanong ko sa inyo mga bro are we too old for toys? if we get older are we still going to collect toys? when are we going to retire from toy collecting? what are we gonna do to our toys when we get older? (sensya na dami tanong eh hehehe) ;D
well collecting toys for me was passion and a hobby. Age doesn't matter in collecting toys even if you are already a grandpa or a grandma you can still collect toys if your wallet or pensions permit you hehehe. Well maybe if we get older and have an apo i could share my wonderful toy collection with them. Sasabihin ko sa mga apo ko "o anak yan ang tinatawag na RX-78-2 na Gundam nung panahon pa ng mga kabataan ko pag ingatan mo yan". ;D
how about you guys? .... share your tots about it. ;D

heck no!... zoids ang collect ko... and it states there na for ages 8 and above... am definitely a kid at heart and above 8 years old... mas masaya diba kung makikita ng future generations natin ang toys natin. they might think "ang gastos naman nya dati"... pero i wish they'd think instead na its a legacy of sorts na ipapasa sa kanila... besides, like love, passion doesnt die out easily diba?... **whoohoo... masyado ako seryus...** -wel

di ba sa mga boxes ng toys me nakasulat ng age limit for example, ages 3+, ages 1+, pero wala naman akong nakikita sa box na "AGE 30 or below", HAHAHA so that's my odd take on the matter. if its not written on the box then we're not OLD to buy and play and collect them right? hehehe ;D

As for me, i don't collect toys. i collect gundam kits. im 24 and everyone around me think im too old for those. i say otherwise though. here are my arguments: 1. Gundam kits are no toys! they're models! You don't play with them. You display them. 2. No way a child can afford those unless they have rich parents i suppose. i just let them say what they want... basta ako... im sticking with my hobby. peace

Depends on how "old" you mean. Personally, I would still stick to the hobby but would put less priority on them against necessity. ;D
I agree with r2d2t2 that kids can't really afford these toys, maybe one or two but not the whole line. Even with an elite background, I highly doubt that the parents would spend so much money on toys for their children.

Maybe kung kailan lang tayo lumaki at nagkatrabaho ngayon lang tayo nag rerevenge dahil di nila tayo binilhan ng toys noon na gustong gusto natin. Siguro if i get old and have sons siguro di ko gagawin yun i'll be glad to buy my son a toy of what he wants and play with him. ;D haaay sweet revenge hehehe .....

I'm not exactly a toy-collector (as for what I'm doing in a toy board, don't ask ), but I can relate. It's the same as asking "Are we too old to watch cartoons? Are we too old to play video games?" Neither age, hobby, nor entertainment preferences have anything to do with maturity level. Unless it involves a bouncy ball tank or a slide that's obviously too small for you, who's to say that you're too old for anything? Whether its toy-collecting or cartoon-watching, as human beings we all need some form of creative stimulation. We are not machines, and we cannot keep on doing the same monotonous, mundane things every day. And so what if we don't conform to what most people our age are doing? That doesn't make us different from them any more than people are different from each other. Lego Mindstorms is a toy, but it's actually being used as a robotics research tool in universities locally and abroad (I've had the chance to work with it in class at DLSU, and I've heard Ateneo recently bought their own set). A lot of robotics hobbyists use toy parts to make "toy" robots that are more advanced than some of the robots currently being used in manufacturing.

Too old??? Are we talking here of playing with them or just plain and simple collecting them??? Well, for me.... Nobody's too old for both.... it's plain and simple part of life... recreation, past time, hobby or something to satisfy somebody's fulfillment. For a toy enthusiast such as me, I'll get older physically, emotionally and psychologically faster If I stop looking, collecting and enjoying toys...... ;D "Surely, we'll be too old for toys.... IF.... we stop thinking and acquiring them....... so let's all continue what we started... COLLECT AND PLAY WITH ALL THOSE WONDERFUL TOYS OUT THERE , hehehehe.... "
