yep it's Christmas time, and we've got carolers again (the little annoying kids, not the group singers who give donation envelopes). Oh well I've nothing against them, but there are some rants that the people here have for them:
Wrong lyrics!
sa AMING bahay, ang AMING bati

more rants:
-Majority of the kids (except for two or so groups) SING THE SAME SEQUENCE of songs EVERY NIGHT.
-This same sequence of songs was the same sequence of songs sung by MAJORITY of the kids way way back! (me and my childhood friends were one of them), around 8 YEARS ago!! (in a much better lyrics)
-what's worse now, is when you ignore them, they will stop singing and say "mamamasko po" (this wasn't seen before, just this Christmas season of 2005)
-it's like they're begging for coins rather than singing christmas carols.
-this happens every year...

that's true. At where i live, kid are carroling. On mid nov!!! Its kinda weird really... As i remember, chrismas carroling starts at dec 16. ^^

yep mostly they do it when the Simbang gabi starts.
what's worse is on Christmas day (noon or so) they will go asking "mamasko lang po" (they can't carol, since it's Christmas day that's their last chance to get some money so they ask for it)
what I did was closed the doors and got a paper, sticked it in the door. What's written in the paper is the word "ASA"
lol.

another annoying thing:eventhough you hide inside the house, they would ring the doorbell and really sing their hearts out. kulang na lang eh sirain nila yung gate namin. eh it's not carolling anymore...harassment na yan eh!

good thing our doorbell's down for years.
if that's the case better tell them. or get mad at them. having a "grumpy" reputation on carolers makes for a less chance of disturbance of persitent kids.

those little brats are trying to pull you a fast one, sometimes i even noticed that they really don't sing that loud for you to hear. they just sing for the sake of doing the effort and then they really make sure that you hear their "NAMAMASKO PO!!!" by shouting it out very very LOUDLY, louder than their singing in fact.
that really ticks me off, those little SOBs (pardon my french) ;D

the most thing that annoys me was when some group of poor kids on the road put his head on the cars window while your inside the car and sings a christmas song. (nagugulat kasi ako duon kala ko kung ano na mas lalo na pag nagiisa kalang sa kotse tsaka pag nasa stop light kana its like an ambush of childrens caroling on the road eventhou it is dangerous).  |

speaking of carolling, last night was different. well, minsan pag sinuswerte ka nga naman, mga hot chick or karamihan sa kanila were our carollers. they were from the church org here in our village. well, aliw kami nang brother ko and we were generous enough to give P100 bucks. they sang well, ala choir and the good thing nga is, hot chicks yung nag carolling.;D

well it's the last night of the pesky carol kids, but tomorrow is the worst, since instead of singing, they'll be asking "mamamasko po" the whole day in almost all of the houses. Better be ready for a "WALA" paper sign on the doors...
