visited my parents' house the other day and rummaged through the compartment under my old bed; recovered some memorable artifacts:  all practically in mint condition! next time i'll look through the compartment under my old chair for the coloring books and vinyl records... ;D |

Grabe...yung poster ng macross vintage na ata yan...pero alam ko up to now medyo "gasgas" yan...you can buy it cheap sa STC

naabutan mo rin pala sina mazinger z at voltes v  . and is that grendaizer? ;D your photos trigger memories...grade one ako nun and me and my classmates would buy these stickers of these japanese robots and stick them up on our notebooks, bags, pencil boxes, etc. and yes, we'd be in front of the TV set at 6 pm sharp for the cartoons.  |

ronin: yes that's grendizer; AFAIK they were able to come out with only 4 original Questor Science Magazines, the mag folded maybe due to lack of interest afterwards. too bad, i was waiting for the Daimos adaptation and backstory info article. and now, some newly unearthed artifacts:  ... some page posters out of the old TV Times magazine, and coloring/activity books of stuff i was watching. even have some more unused Thundercats stickers for the sticker book.  ... as a kid i had managed to color some pages of Mazinger Z, and had not yet gotten to the Mekanda coloring book. also found my old vinyl of the Mazinger Z theme song; too bad i can't play it anymore as i don't have a vinyl record player. that's pop-up book about Skylab, most the pop-ups still work. and who remembers Dr. Who? |

Wow. galing ng collections mo dude. Brings back a lot of memories. Sana ma-scan mo yung mga pages ng coloring books and magazines then post mo sa forum para may reference tayo lahat. Magandang pang cover sa dvds yan e.

Interesting stuff you got there, Jay. It really brought me back to those good old days. The Six Million Dollar Man and Space 1999 books made me smile. Wow. may Skylab pa!!!

... with today's technology... you can easily reprint and sell those questor magazines...
... if ever you decide to do that... you have a waiting customer here ;D

When was Mazinger Z shown on Philippine TV? I grew up in the 80's but I can't remember Mazinger.

mazinger z was shown same time as voltes v. IIRC wednesdays on channel 7, while voltes v aired on fridays. monday mekanda robot, tuesdays daimos, thursdays grendaizer.
