this blows y'all. i found a great item at ebay and it doesn't ship to the philippines. i asked the ebayer if he ships to japan, why won't he ship here in the philippines? his response: every package he has sent to the philippines all his life has been lost. this caused him to loose money.
yo, anybody know how to guarantee the package safety or whatever when it arrives in the philippines? thank you

Sellers usually allow the winning bidders/buyers to choose a shipping method. I suggest you choose the trackable method sent via a private courier(DHL, Fedex, etc.). This is the safest but may cost twice as the standard method.

yup. that's the only problem. cost is twice the standard method. actually, shipping from italy for fedex costs about 100 euro. is EMS safer than the normal method?

Yeah, I recommend EMS. It costs more (cheaper than DHL though) but it's trackable.

...and i wud rather pay those in legit business than those lacostes in the customs office.

I thought only priority method offers personal delivery. I thought EMS and Standard differ only in arrival date.

from what i heard it depends on the total amount of yoru package. if it is around 100usd then you have to claim it thru the EMS office since you have to pay some taxes pa and if it is lower like magazines it will be delivered straight to your doorstep or office.
