Why talk about a Sailor Moon spin-off or a long defunct show?
Actually, I'm here to share about my real-life experience wherein I watched Super Twins live.
Even if I'm not much of a fan of Super Twins, the most interesting thing to note is...
(I hope GMA network doesn't kill me for posting this)
The Market scene of Super Twins was filmed just in front of my house. No kidding. I even have a personally autographed Photo of Super S and T.
My real name is censored in that picture. My real name is the same as the role-play name of Amanda's friend from La Vendetta (ie: her friend who died in a car accident because she was haunted by Snooky's ghostly role). Can you guess it? *grins*
I also have several photos of the filming saved in my mom's laptop. Will upload if I have time.
One morning, I was shocked to find the Unang Hirit crew present with Regine and Drew. I also found out that Regine seems to like Gummi Candies (besides cosplaying as Rinoa from FFVIII in one episode).
In another morning, I was awakened by the "Super Pasabog Earring" of Super T. Iwa Moto (aka: Moshi Moshi Doll) was actually "injured" by the explosion, right? I saw it with my own eyes. The "flying scenes" are also fun to watch.
The EXACT location of that "makeshift market" scene is "San Isidro Street, Santol, Quezon City" up to "Inocando street" which is just a few steps away. Now you know where the "Sky Pirate's Den" is "really" located. OMG OMG!
The house of Drew Barrimor (Camille Prats) was filmed in the Looban part of San Isidro Street. They have "vintage houses" there.
The "makeshift carinderia" of Luz Valdez was filmed in the vacant lot of the Angeles family (related to Gabby Eigenmann and family) which at that time has a house under construction.
During those filming weeks of Super Twins; I met Dominic Zapata, Love Anover, Luz Valdez, Patrick Garcia, Camille Prats, Jennelyn Mercado, Nadine Samonte + their "kiddie" counterparts, Giselle Sanchez, Iwa Moto and Dennis Trillo (as Eliseo) in person.
Our Barangay Captain commented that GMA Network is a very responsible network. They gave good money to the extras as well as to the people who helped them, they cleaned their mess immediately after the taping and they are not noisy during the night. The GMA crew stayed up to the wee hours of the morning, applying special effects and video editing with a laptop.
