Honestly, will of you guys get Voltes V, even if its that expensive? (for collectors who have a normal paying job) I know the real rich collectors will surely get the toy.

i think it would be a great idea to save 1,000/month until SOC Voltes arrives... ... 250/week... ;D P11,000 pesos. May 13th month naman tayo diba? true. pero pano kung mga mid next year p yan lalabas? m sure nabawasan n yun 13th month mo due to other expenses, most probably due to other toys.

No problemo guys:) It's kinda cool to know that the Bomber has the Voltes Bazooka fixed inside its sleeve, aside from the hands(if the blueprints are true). How cool is that?! Gold

I think it's not the cost of the said item that counts.... I for one ain't rich but a Voltes V is a Voltes V..... it's something you can treasure for the rest of your life or probably even that of your kids. Quenching your thirst for your collections are really expensive.... and so are other things. Atleast it's being announced way too early from its release date..... for us to get focus on thinking ways of how to save for it. Opinion ko lang po..... (",)

tama si ser edwin, pag kolektor ka ng diecast robot, or if ever mag decide ka mag kolek ng diecast robot, you must first prepare yourself talaga sa price nila. they are really quite expensive. dapat sa initial pa lang eh matancha muna kung kaya mo i maintain un hobby. un bottomline naman, they are really worth saving up for, even ur kids would enjoy them when they grow up.

SGP ah greetings senor SGP, i tell my kids naman they would inherit my SOCs naman pag right age na sila hehe. pag marunong na sila mag maintain ng hobby. ngayung bata pa sila, wag muna, eh mga toy destroyers pa naman sila. a new toy would not last a day with them, sira na at the end of the day .

Tell me about it... Some of my friends keep teasing me how my collections will end up being played by my kids (someday). SGP Your toy collections being played by your kids someday........ that's not an overstatement...... IT'S A REALITY. I, for one experienced it..... I used to have almost all those vintage super robots when am still young and single. Yes, I played with them every now and then but not to the extent of destroying or delapidating them. I always make it a point to arrange, clean and return them to my closet after playtime. Time came when I turned my attention from my toys to the opposite sex (ladies).... lessened toys' playtime... increased girl's playtime,hehehe...... ;D Still my toys remained fine and unharmed inside my closet. The kids arrived, and together with their cousins.... Oh my God.... !!! They started doing every possible way of harming my collection. Of course I was also reminding them every now and then never to touch them since I've been buying them their own toys, relaying to them the value of keeping their toys neat and orderly and all those stuffs... BUT TO NO AVAIL!!!!... sneaking and taking my toys out of my closet when am gone and working......... My collection's still intact now that my kids are a lil older and passed their playing time...... but sorry to say, they are not that mint anymore, most of them have chips, broken parts, lots of abraided colors and worse, most of them are no longer complete (lost parts) and all of them lost their boxes But just the same.... Am quite happy that they were able to play with my collection since most of them (my son and nephews) developed the essence of collecting toys like me (my sisters been bragging me, that am the reason for some of their missery... giving money to their sons just to buy expensive toys,hehehe....... ) Now, that's just a cycle..... time will come that their kids will play with their collection too... that I keep reminding them ....... "Old daddy clock will get his revenge for what they did to my toys...hahahaha!!!!" Of course you can opt not to allow them to play with your collection. NOW.... will you, being the good and loving daddy or papa that you are, can resist their faces when they ask you ..."Please daddy, may I see and play with your toys... please ;D"

Hahaha, I know that it will be a reality if, the Good Lord permits, I will have sons. But I don't think I will ever allow (if the Good Lord wills it) my daughters to play with my SOCs. ;D Hehe... But they will definitely inherit my collection when they come of age, right?

in my case naman ser edwin, i tell my two boys (age 7 and 5) na if the toy is expensive like SOC, pang display lang sila. and they understand naman (medyo mature na mag isip mga bata nowadays). happy naman kame three sa hobby room ko appreciating our SOC collection na nasa display cabinet. and i buy them naman separate toys to play with. no problems here, cool un set up namin ng mga kids ko. pero now na bata pa sila, di ko cguro kaya ipalaro sa mga kids ko ang mga SOC ko. the thought lang na ma chip sila ng kaunti eh praning na ako. cguro someday, pag right age na sila, pag marunong na talaga sila mag maintain ng hobby.

During those days... the DX robots are not too expensive (a dollar cost around Php7 to Php8) and most of them were given to me by my parents, aunts and uncles .... thats probably the reason why I really didnt mind too much if the kids play with my collections (if only I knew they'll be that expensive nowadays, i should have done otherwise ;D) For the prize of SOCs and other diecast toys today... I think I'll go with you guys.... please no touching of my collection or else........ "NOLI ME TANGERE!!!!" Lucky for you guys, there are now lots of bootlegs for the kids to play with, massacre or destroy it if they want to.... unlike before wala masyado bootleg.... ;D and mind you bootlegs nowadays look really great(parang orig) .... and you have display cabinets too which can really take the kids off them, unlike me who only have my closet(easy to open) then and until now, to keep my toys ... but somehow, malalaki na kids ko and somewhat I know that my collections are a lot safer now that's why am starting again to collect toys, esp. SOCS..... ON SECOND THOUGHT , will the said dilemma occur again if suddenly my son gives me a grandson .....Got to get me a display cabinet ASAP with lots of padlocks to go with it!!! ;D ;D TOPIC RECALLED: I have a Godaikin Voltes V, bought to me by mother for Php500 in circa 70... it ends up with lots of color discolorations and abrasions but is still complete including it's projectiles. Now, this is my most precious toy possession. A great amount of happy and sad memories comes with it ....... No amount of dough can hinder me from acquiring a SOC Voltes V, which I do believe will also have lots of memories to go with it as time flies......
