Thanks guys btw, i think there a typo -Popy Voltes - 3.46 Kilos/3460Grams(!!!) <== i think the correct weight is around 2000 grams, a boxed vintage Voltes V Volt in Box DX giftset weights below 3000grams.. thanks Hmm guess my heavy scale is busted. Thanks for the correction Malvin, I'll try to update the weight when I get home. Edit:[/size] BTW Just to clarify regarding the Silver paints on Voltes' tummy and thighs. it really isn't as bad as it sounds, I just like to scrutinize Gokin toys within an inch of its life. The bubbles are very, very, very minor, hehe you can't even see them in the photos and it's hard to spot on the toy. Apologies everyone if the earlier statement was a bit misleading. nice review gold!! question lang...how do you make the "groin" on V4 retract? just push it until it goes in? thanks! Yep, just push them into the back and up Kamadona, yes the Lander wheels roll just like on the old Popy Gold

Gold so how do you prevent Voltes V from rolling when he's in robot form? I mean, don't the wheels roll when he's standing with all the weight?

Hmm good point, I think the shock absorbers I mentioned in the Lander wheels lock the wheels in position? I didn't think of trying to press the Lander down and see if the wheels can still roll, the wheels were a real problem on the Combattler, I didn't encounter any stability problems with the toy.. Hehe, I'm currently in Zambales now and Voltes is in storage at home in Manila so I can't check this. Gold

Hi Bri, nope, there's no click to lock it in place, as long as you don't see the section peeking out of the blue shorts, then that's about it Gold

Bandai is coming off a bit with its QC I observed something (right after taking out of the box) after setting it up, the top edge of the right thigh and just below the ball join (joining with the hip) has a chip, a metal chip! but other than that, the toy never fail to amaze me.

Gold! Very nice photos! Excellent work! Cheers, garvy Hehe, thanks Garvy, I found those images on a Japanese review site. I was planning on making those poses myself(with Buffy's photoshop help) but seeing as how professionally it was done, I figured it was better to share them with the boards Hehe I've still got a good action pose in mind but it'll have to wait until I get home Gold

nice review GOLD!!! compared to the popy version....IMO i think the popy version has more details and stickers on it....while the latest edition is a simplier version yet well articulated toy...maybe really ment for display while the popy version ment more for playing!!!
cheers!!!
