I've noticed several threads showcasing SOC Voltes V being placed on sale. My question to those who own one is....................................WHY? Isn't it a keeper? A potential heirloom? Why sell it?

Sure you would loose interest on an item but in just a week or two?

I think it's because of the high demand right now. Some countries are selling them at a cheaper price. They probably got them there and are selling them here...

If you buy and then sell it, how do you make profit? Unless you buy in a bulk, you can't sell it for more than you paid. People will just buy from eBay or other retailers for cheaper price.

Well.... I think, atleast for some, this is a classic tale of getting too eager to have a set of something that he/she is very eagerly waiting and wanting. Probably impulsive in purchasing...... then later on, he/she found some flaws with the item and decided to just resell it .Well.....it's just my two cents. Also, I know someone who really thought that GX-31 will be hoarded and he'll have no chance of acquiring atleast one(1). Impulsively, he bought a couple of units as soon as the toy hits Manila even if he doesn't have enough dough (bought the units with borrowed money). Now, the hardest thing hits him after a couple of weeks..... he needed the money so badly for an emergency (life threatening)... thus he ended up reselling his GX-31s. Just sharing a comrade's experience, no offense meant to anybody....... (",)

For me panic buying is the word! Other people selling thier extras. maybe they were expecting that the price of voltes will sky rocket after the store declares out of stock. and sell them at a higher price for their profit. some was the q.c problems of bandai so some are now expecting a GX-31R version for this issue and just selling their extras instead.
