Looks like the Diecast laser sword is already out over at EBay. Selling for around 16-26 US$ not inclusive of shipping costs. click here to view auction linkAs far as I know it isn't limited. Not an official SOC Bandai released item but a custom-made, mass produced item from China. Malvin says their stocks might be coming in within 48 hours or so. Yay! Gold

Just got mine yesterday. Looks exactly like Bandai's sword. Good quality. Box doesn't match though.

I don't have a counter with me but I'd say it's heavy. Voltes probably won't be able to do much with it. Just like combattler with his diecast twin lancer. But it's still a cool addition to your voltes SOC collection. But a word of caution; it's a bit sharp, long pointy diecast thingy...you know. So keep it out of reach of children.

Not exactly a legit SOC item but I figured might as well post it since it's really cool The "Soul" Gx31 diecast Tenkuken (the one on the left is the "default" plastic sword that came with Voltes) Thankfully Voltes can support the heavy sword. You just have to carefully balance it right and not abruptly release your supporting grip on the sword otherwise the arm will come swooping down(regardless of the shoulder ratchet joint, given the right momentum). Please also note that in all the pics, Voltes is slightly tipped backwards to balance his center of gravity, no way can he hold the sword forward and not topple over from the weight. The fist seems to hold the diecast sword's weight Let's try it left handed... He can also do the "lighting" pose while holding it. Dual sword style Hehe, Combattler's not the only one with the dual blades anymore now is he? ;D finally box comparison shot with the Gx03 "legit" diecast twin lancer, the "Soul" Tenkuken box is bigger and thicker.
