A friend of mine had been telling me of many cheap toys in Divisoria, and I'm wondering if they are bootlegs. He says they could be illegal stuff but they are way cheap.
And my friend said it is so since some toys are really made in China. But however, I'm doubting it since China is pretty well-known for making lots of bootlegs, so can anyone give their views on this? Coz I think there's been lots of original-looking bootlegs lately.

I agree. I remember seeing Full Metal Alchemist figs being sold in DV, they're about Php 450 each. It looks orig, inside the box.

i think almost all the toys right now being sold is made from China...but of course all depends in the QControl of each company....bootlegs are fun....think is alryt to buy them for ur kids...or for custom bashing!!! hehehe...

yes all of them are cheap but if you mean cheap, it can also be mean it's a bootleg...
and yes, sir mojacko is right. bootlegs are fun since they are cheap you can customized it without any reservations on how much money you wasted. umm n-ge-gets po b english ko??? sorry ehehe
i admit, half of my collection came from divisoria...mostly gundam bootlegs...
but not all stores in divisoria sells bootlegs...at least i remember one...the one that sells original tamiya 4WD racing cars.. i dunno if it's still there...

I live very near in Divisoria and as far as I can tell, all those who sells anime and gundam and even world of warcraft toys in 168 mall are bootlegs. I'm not sure about any toyshops in Divisoria mall though as I cant remember seeing any toyshops there.

I remember seeing a "Wonder Toys" shop in Divisoria.
Wonder Toys sell non-bootlegs except Sonic figures which are 50 each.
Wonder Toys also go into shocking sales every month or year, wherein even authentic gashapon figures go as low as 70-150 each (I bought lots from them in their defunct Robbinsons Galleria branch).
However the down side is, they don't offer much as they offer almost the same products as what you see in Greenhills / Toy Kingdom.

Go to Divisoria Mall (right infront of New Divisoria mall), there is a store that sells original and new sereis figures from Mac Farlane.
Lots of bootleg Gundam model kits which can be good for kit bash, OOTB assembly and spare parts for your original kits. Normally, they have Wing EW custom (1/144 & 1/100), Gundam Seed (1/144 & 1/100), Gundam Destiny (1/144 & 1/100) and Gundam Stargazer (1/144 only). If you plan on getting into the hobby of Gundam kit building try these first since the parts are totally the same as of the original but the quality is not.
I recommend you get Force Impulse Gundam. Other 1/100 MS Gundam kits are Providence, Duel Ashroud, Freedom, Strike Freedom, Astray Blue Frame 2nd L and Blitz.

I wonder if the Death Note Nendoroids are available in Divisoria... it seems to be popping up in some toy shops (non-GT) and according to what I gathered they are mostly fakes...
Is it possible to find a faux Encore Soundwave in Divisoria?

its better go to parkson clark the figures are cheap and but the box in very bad condition
