Just asking, is kenner/hasbro bringing back the m.a.s.k. toyline. I heard from a collector that m.a.s.k. collectors are selling their them at e-bay because ma.s.k. is coming back.

Hi!
This is news to me. Anyway, if this is indeed so, I'm still not selling my M.A.S.K. Collection.
Though I'll be getting the ones that I don't have if they'll indeed be re-issued.
So Hasbro is the one that bought Kenner years ago?

I highly doubt it. With Kenner gone, the rights to the toy are in limbo, even if Hasbro absorbed the company. Unless it's a brand new series I don't think it's possible they're going to reissue the original toys.

Wow, IF this were true then hoooray for me, he he he! But Gold is right, Kenner is long gone. But with the 80's nostalgia nowadays, anything is possible. ^_^

If it's true, then it's great news indeed. MattTracker and the rest of the Team will be resurrected from the Grave.... heheheh.... just kidding! If ever Hasbro plan to reissue this M.A.S.K. toys, hope they do make the Vehicle Codename: SHARK! (wishful thinking)

Maybe it's a Movie based on the cartoon TV series. That seems to be the fad nowadays in Hollywood. (TF the movie, GI Joe Live action movie, Speed Racer Live action movie, KITT the Movie... and they're all from the '80's hehehe! Mazinga Zetto@ The mythical Shark, Gloria Bakers ride eh? hehehe! it would be cool! Edit: tried to look for info in the net...nada... Though I found this instead...a series that's almost the modern M.A.S.K. of the '80's. A.T.O.M. (Alpha Teens On Machines) Their machines seems to be based on the '80's MASK vehicles. www.youtube.com/watch?v=iA-ySwB9w2c&feature=relatedwww.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6sXmOxsRcU&feature=related

Yeah, I've read it somewhere before that there was a certain store who has the "Shark" toy from M.A.S.K., but it was sold out immediately the moment they arrive..... must be the first prototype and it smells kinda fishy...... good thing that I still have this in my bookmark and btw, nice find on the A.T.O.M. series. Gotta find this on the net and see what's the story all about.... download.... download.... www.kryptonsite.com/factfiction.htm

I saw at a store in v-mall a G.I. Joe Matt Trakker figure. As in the Matt Trakker of MASK. Did hasbro absorb the MASK figures? Weird

Yep, that's from Gijoe wave 11. Yes, Hasbro got Kenner and most of its associated properties from waaay back in the 1990's merger (or was it late 1980's?) Remember StarWars was also a Kenner Property back in the day. Gold
