hi, im new here, i collect spawn and gundam toys. but after seeing all the toys here under SOC, i really want to own one of my own too. so guys, what SOC should be my first? im leaning towards the mazinger series, should i get gx01? or the great mazinger? can i still find those for sale? how much would they cost? thanks so much.

Hi, welcome to the boards. Well, actually, it would really depend on what your favorite super robot. I would suggest that you wait for the Voltes V that's coming out early next year. ;D SGP |

Hi, welcome to the boards. Well, actually, it would really depend on what your favorite super robot. ;D For some people -like me- we just get the pieces whose animes we actually saw in our time. Mazinger is always on the list of SOC hunters. Many say the GX-01R is better than the original release GX-01. But the first release always has some intangible value to it....
BTW, meron ba lahat ng Nagai SOCs ng picture ni Go Nagai sa manual/ booklet?

Inside the booklet of GX-04 yata there's a pic of Go Nagai holding Grendy. I'm not sure about the others.

ThunderBreak, hehehe. maganda rin kasi mazinger z, classic din, and yup, im saving for the voltes v na rin. mahirap pagsabayin but ill really do my best to get both. maganda ba gx01?

Welcome aboard Yoncha! Regarding what SOCs to buy, well the Go Nagai ones are always the decent ones to start with, particularly the "R" versions of Maz and GMaz. As for the pic of Go nagai, I think he popped up only in Maz and Grendy manuals, the rest(Gmaz, Getter, the maz gals) nope.   Happy hunting Gold |
