Heres a bit of trivia on Daidenjin who's rumored to be number 35.....

Daidenjin is the main mecha of the Sentai team Denziman. It is the first transforming mecha ever used in Sentai. Denziman is the Sentai series after Battle Fever so if Bandai is starting to incorporate Sentai bots into the line based on chronological order the next mech should be Goggle V.

Just a bit of info. This wasn't classified under Sentai but under Tokusatsu in general.

I guess they're keeping the line alive by releasing some "in-betweeners(multiple EVAs? Xabungle??)" to milk the line for all it's worth.


As for Danguard Ace, don't get your hopes up.


He was the brainchild of the dude who made the Starblazers/Space Battleship Yamato saga(sorry I forgot his name).

As the story goes, he only wanted to do the "Danguard" series in the same tone as Yamato(no Super Robots dapat), but the network demanded that he include a super robot in the show(as it was the "in" thing at the time) or else they wouldn't air it. So reluctantly the creator had to "squeeze" a robot into the show.


As time went by the creator of the show really hated that he had to do something that was forced on him, so he grew to resent the whole Danguard Ace project... at least that's what some sites say.


So I guess there's little chance of him agreeing to lend the rights to making a new toy of Danguard toy. when was the last time you saw Danguard on any merchandise? Even in the Super Robot Wars games not once did he appear and SRW games have almost ever SR included in one game or another..

...and since Bandai is manufacturing sentai bots chronologically... we can predict that Sun Vulcan Robo from Sun Vulcan is next... followed by Goggle Robo of Goggle Five...
