Delta, Gokin usually refers to diecast toys in the toy sense, but it was originally coined by the creator of Mazinger Z, Go Nagai. It in the series Mazinger Z, Mazinger was lined with a new type of indestructable alloy found only at the base of Mt.Fuji, Koji Kabuto's grandfather dubbed the alloy "Chogokin Z"(tranlated means "super Alloy Z") The term "Gokin" was later used to label toylines with diecast in them -Bandai's Soul of Chogokin and The Chogokin -Max Factory's Max Gokin -CMs Corp.'s Brave Gokin Other lines with the Gokin name would be the Kamen(Masked) riders' Super Imaginative chogokin(S.I.C.) sorry for my ignorance... what is "gokin"? BTW sorry if if the release date for the Red Getter1 is a bit off, I assume it's out since Bizzio over at robot Japan already posted pics of someone getting theirs last May end. I just checked with Angolz and red Getter1 is due June, Getter 2 July and Getter 3 in August. PHEW!  SGP |
